so confuzzled with that new art with morrigan and alistair, that is set just before she appears in the wardens room?
If your Warden was female, in a romance with Alistair and had a close friendship with Morrigan, then yes this scene would have appeared had it not be snipped before release.
Wonderful work, Aimo! And I'm glad something from the story was restored. Morrigan was always one of my favorite characters, if only because of the conflicts she was going through, while becoming friends/lovers with the Warden. Very glad we got to see more of those conflicting emotions spill out into the open.

aaah cuz i got a bit confused with it all even when i am close with morrigan she is such a cold **** (sorry but she is ) and she even says thats the reason my mother sent me out here (get the old god) which makes me think lopping the mothers head off wasn't such a good idea after all :-S

That graphic short story, as the term comic strip doesn't cut it IMHO, is just wonderful. Your way with emotional expressions via body language is marvelous.

Beautiful work as always. Seeing her struggling with her purpose... One Word *EPIC* You and David Gaider should definitely do more of these! *HUG*

Very nice...I think I'm glad it wasn't in the game, though. Not knowing that Morrigan actually cared and had regrets about what she was proposing probably made The Choice that much more difficult. I love the retrospective character insight, however.
(And I'm horribly envious of anyone who gets the attention of Bioware writers...even if it's well deserved.

Wow Wow Wow.......... that was awesome! I always pictured Morrigan as struggling with her destiny and her growing feelings of love/friendship - it is SO wonderful to see it so expressively done!

I will say it yet one more time.
Bioware needs to hire Aimo, sit her in a room with Mr. Gaider and the other writers, and put together a comic book with all the "cutting room floor" scenes that didn't make it into the game. Those of us who just can't get enough of the character interactions would love to see more. I know I'd be willing to shell out a few dollars for something like that.

Yeah me too. I would totally buy a comic strip with "cut" scenes from the game in there.

Yessssssssssssss.
This was such a great moment in my female human noble playthrough! They were great freinds up untill that ritual......being unable to have a child with the man she loves while watching her best freind walk off carying his child, or one of them dying......she hated Morrigan for making her make that choice and Morrigan knew she would but stayed true to her purpose while sacrificing the only freindship she had ever had for the happyness of that freind..... I wonder if Morrigan (and our current PC's will carry into future games....reconciliation......

I'd like to reply to every one of the comments, but it's currently 3:50 am right now and I have a movie outing with friends at 11:00am, so I have to make it a short , general one. My apologies.
Thank you for the kind words on the comic; I'm happy at the overall positive reception to the pages. I was fortunate to get the chance to collaborate with David Gaider, because a chance like this does not happen every day! I was definitely on board when the story he had in mind would illustrate the existence and scale of Morrigan's dilemma, whose declaration prior to the storming Denerim was one of the most touching, powerful words uttered in the game. Personally, the best thing about this was the opportunity to glimpse into more Morrigan-Alistair interactions beyond the game while working on the pages, as I do miss them quite a bit after finishing a playthrough.
I've uploaded the rough layout of the comic, so you can compare the initial plans to the finished story.
Rough layout sketches for 'The Revelation'

Anyway, I do have new stuff to show as well!

This was actually done as a quick test with an inkjet printing DIY Keychain-making kit. The experiment was a failure - the keychains ended up skewed and warped during the hardening stage in the oven - but at least there's an artwork that came out of it
And from the artwork above, someone commented that 'she wants to keep her (Aeducan) in her pocket and take her out to snuggle her face.'' and this image popped in my head. I had to draw it out XD

A marker commission of Alistair/Mahariel.
And, I finally started cranking out Awakening-related fan comics

This is assuming Warden Alistair is hanging around Vigil's Keep during the game, and not off to Highever to build Duncan's shrine...so if it's not the case, bleach this comic from your minnnnds~

Done in reaction to the super hammy villainy monologue by a (villainous?) mage(?) in the first Awakening trailer.
Thanks for viewing!

You've been busy! I love them all, but I especially love the romantic Alistair ones and the one where he's playing with his action figures. Too cute!

OK Aimo I LOVE your work. And I LOVE Mr. Gaider's work. And putting you two together is like a Reeces peanut butter cup. Two great flavors together! I love that cut scene. I always thought it was weird that Morrigan would offer such a ritual so coldly when she had warmed to my character completely as a friend. I had her at 100. I always thought there was more to that, and I love the tears and she says "weakness." I am writing a fanfic where I made it that a conflict for her to offer. So, I am glad to see I wasn't off base.
I would so spend the money if they would set you and Mr. Gaider down together and make comics. Would slap down the cash, oh yes! And I love your marker commission. I may have to send you a personal email and ask your rates (though I fear I would never have enough money so I am afraid to ask) for a commission of my own. Thank you so much Aimo for the lovely work! : )

Well, what can I say? Great work! (as usual)
Still, when I look at Alistair in "when the cat's away", I can't think of any other response other than: "Finally, Alistair takes his duty as a king seriously, and stars to learn basic strategy and tactcis. And he does have fun with it too."
(it's probably because I always make him a king, not matter who my Warden is...)
