I actually remembered that prior to the latest comic, I doodled happy time scenes with my M!Cousland (GASP, NOT A DWARF?) while recovering. Thought you might like to see them.

M!Cousland having dirty, messy nature fun with little Oren, oblivious to the danger that is rapidly approaching.


It doesn't end well for uncle and nephew, for even if Antivan women do not engage themselves in combat, Cousland men are powerless against an angry one's mean left/right hook.


Eleanor Cousland fusses over her bashful son while proud Bryce looks on. He's probably thinking "Yup. I has it."


Ah, fun times. Shame how it turned out for the Couslands later...

Those pictures are fantastic, especially the one of your young Cousland warden with his parents. The first one with Oren is really cute, (what exactly is he holding in his hands?). You did a great job at making that annoying Oriana look really mean, hurting the Male Cousland like that!

And you're right, what happens next after these happy days is sometimes too much to bare. 

Overall, really nice stuff, you do a fantastic job with the Cousland family. It's been an industrious day for you here hasn't it?

While I agree that lack of romances in Awakening is (probably...) good idea, I'd still love to try to form some more "intimate" form of relationship with Sigrun... And guess whose dwarven noble made me swing that way?

About the Marital Advice thingie... i could hear Alistair's voiceover during the page 3. "Very creepy, forget i asked... actually i did not ask, did i?"

Would never guess it's supposed to be Anora based just on the looks alone, though. I'm guessing there isn't much fondness for her in-game looks, then?

Brilliant work! I could imagine my Dalish PC acting the same way when talking to someone about Alistair. I was kinda hoping that a scene like this would have played out if you chose not to make Alistair king. Anyway, I felt a bit bad for Nate here. Never thought I'd really end up lliking him a lot by the end of the game. I really hope he and the other companions would appear in future expansions or maybe in DA2.

Am I also sore that there is not even a cameo of Warden Alistair in the expansion? Why yes...yes I am *shakes fist at Cousland queens*

You're not the only one who's sore. Actually, Cousland queens are not the only lucky ones. I think those who chose to become King Alistair's mistress also get to see a cameo of him. Basically, as long as he is king, he gets a cameo. At least I was more or less satisfied with the epilogue I got with him.


Great job on the Cousland family! I'm always sad to see happy pictures of them because we all know what happened to them later in the game.
