Just a thought I had earlier, which I'm interested in your opinions of.
If Mass Effect 3's multiplayer had different playable species...

After thoroughly enjoying ME3's multiplayer, I am actually looking forward to DA3's MP mode.

single player is human only, mostly due to cost reason.
Multiplayer mode gets lots of races anyway.
Go figure.

So in general, people don`t want multiplayer at all. And in general people want to be able to pick a race when creatinga character in the single player game.

So you've played an advance copy, or got an inside source? All we're working on right now is speculation.
Also, MP is worked on by a different team than the team that handles the SP portion. What one gets and the other doesn't, and vice versa, is no indication of anything other than the fact that they are not being worked on by one team in unison.

One of the devs were speaking about what a "great success" the ME3 multiplayer was, and that the DA multiplayer MIGHT be very simmilar. But yes, its speculation, but its also a pretty safe bet too.

THIS.
And local split-screen on the multiplayer as well.

When has Bioware ever done split-screen recently?Overdosing wrote...

* It could be an arena-style PVP where you each pit your single-player-campaign parties against each other.
* It could be co-op, in which two players create their normal single-player-campaign heroes (i.e., humans) and work together.
We literally don't know anything. So it's all just completely wild, baseless guesses at this point.

The explosion on the forums would be entertaining to watch though.
Pretty sure the reaction would be like this:

With Bioware's Edmonton office possibly being wiped off the map.

Why not? Also it would be nice to have the option to customize their appearance in terms of hairstyle, facial structure, facial hair (where applicable), facial tattoos, eye colour, etc. Unless of course everyone is wearing helmets they can't remove...
Yeah I am an enormous sucker for character customization.

I can just tell when the bashing starts after release, you'll be one of the ones defending Bioware to death.

Plenty of great co-op modes except survival...
Let Mass Effect be Mass Effect and Dragon Age be Dragon Age...
I said it probably won't happen earlier but thinking about it, I could see races in MP. If they make them like ME3 where you can't customizae the armor, why not? It would just be them taking code from the SP and dropping it into MP. Just like ME3 does. I'd imagine Bioware is going to drop more resources into MP now that they see how successful it is too...so...yea. I'd like races to be fully customizable in MP if they do go that way. Like armor/weapon customization. Wouldn't mind seeing the MT formula they use for item packs too because it's all optional. And those players who buy the gear are probably the reason I get free DLC in ME3...

A castle defender like mode would work pretty well for DA3.deuce985 wrote...
I really don't want it exactly like ME3. Please come up with more creativity than that. I mean, borrow some inspiration from it? Like playable races? Sure. But I really don't want to run around in arenas and survive 10 waves. I like it in ME, I don't need it in DA too...
