A discussion is an exchange of ideas and thoughts. What you want is a full agreement and nodding of the heads like at a **** ralley.

But what I really dislike is out of every original ME character she is the only one you can't get rid of. You can kill garrus, heck you can even kill Tali but god forbid you kill Liara. I don't care I'm sick of Liara, there's plenty of stronger asari characters but we've gotten stuck with the weakest one.

Cerberus would recover Shepard body regardless. That part is not an assumption, it's just common sense.
They'd have had to have either found the Collector ship and raided it in transit, or assaulted the Collector base directly.
Shepard's body was only saved thanks to Liara and Feron's very timely interception. Regardless of what you think of Liara, she saves you.
.
And the other SB didn't have access to the intel Liara got on Mars. This is why it's a good paramenter to see how good an information broker she is. What she is capable of doing by herself.
.
She got the intel and only saw the Crucible. TIM on the other hand...
What does that have to do with the beacon on Thessia? She didn't know about it but neither did the previous Shadow Broker, it's a simple explanation for why it's all a big surprise.
But now you're really opening a whole different can o' worms. ME3 did a fairly poor job with Liara as the SB and Cerberus in general, if you ask me. Won't go too much into it though.

I can't really see why numbers 2 and 4 are bad. Liara, the asari Prothean expert, is part of the narrative when you go to retrieve major Prothean artifacts, the latter of which is found on her homeworld, woopee? The other two sure, it's awkward, it was awkward that one time I romanced Garrus instead, but the other two make complete sense both logically and narratively.

You should've realised that making this topic was asking for trouble. I love Liara, but I can accept that a lot of people don't, and aren't afraid to say so.Zakuspec089 wrote...
I'm starting to dislike this Topic also, people just like to pick fights they won;t stay on topic. Most things sound negative as well not positive. It be nice if people were respectful of one other not immature brats.

Granted sometimes the hate can go a bit off the deep end, but that holds true for praise as well.

And in both cases she doesn't do anything productive on the mission. Okay, she reminds Shepard that he needs to find the correct code to open the pod or you'll kill him but that's it. Thessia was just personal. We had the option to leave her on the Normandy for Noveria way back when. And yes, I will argue that Tali should not have been required for Rannoch either. Recall that these missions aren't the loyalty missions from ME2 where everyone gets a turn. The Night Mammoth wrote...

OP, people have as much right to hate on Liara and make it known, than you have on loving the character. You're gonna have to deal with it because it's not about to stop.
And it's the same for every character.

Fair enough, even though I remember she at least a little helpful on Eden Prime.
Still, I don't see how these two examples are that big of a deal. They make sense, just like having Tali on Rannoch made sense. Remember James is forced on Mars? And EDI is forced on Cronos Station. Regardless of the reason, I've seen almost no complaints about that. Why? Story reasons, and neither character is forced on the player with personal interactions like the other two examples.
So with that in mind, it probably also makes more sense to stop thinking of Liara as just another squadmate, and more as a character in the story, like Anderson, or Joker. A romancable character, which obviously makes the other two encounters pretty annoying if you don't want that kind of relationship or anything like it.
Even so, this seems more like and issue with how her character was utilized in the story, and not a particular problem with Liara as a character. .

The other characters are majority of romances are humans. Liara is a Alien and she have a longer storyline and most interesting because she's a important character within Mass Effect. Liara's the Prothean expert as well. I wished we saw more of the Shadowbroker stuff and what she did in between before the Reapers came.
