Are the Inquistors in the DA universe a religious organisation or what?

Not at all. they ceased to exist a while after the first blight when they signed the Nevarran accord with the Chantry to join forces and become the Seekers and the Templars.

They are described as having "hunted heretics and cultists", which makes it sound like they were very much a religious organisation.

That they weren't part of the Chantry appears to only reflect that the Chantry was by comparison rather moderate.

ok - don't flame me - remember everyone has their own fantasies with a Fantasy game..
I'd like something that shows muscles on the guys.. even some what topless... and for the girls.. something feminine... with waist showing and a little leg ... NOT topless.. heh heh Posted Image

This might be some random armor but for Inquisitor´s uniform...? They are supposed to represent the Chantry, not Blooming rose :D

Who knows, maybe 'The Inquisition' is actually a fancy brothel and we just got it all wrong.

...That might be kinda fun. xD

Like I said...  we all have our personal Fantasies playing a Fantasy game Posted Image
however I do like the "seeker" armor in "Rise of the Seeker"Posted Image

Rise of the Sekeer armors are SOO OP. Whomever, Inquisitor armors are black with long capes decorated with the maker symbol.

Here is the symbol of Inquisition - http://dragonage.wik...iki/Inquisition I think it was already shown in DA , in one of the books in Hanged Man.

This is the symbol of the Maker. The Inquisition was a huge army founded in the First Era. They followed the Maker religion and the Chantry laws.

At least read it there, please -

They were no massive army, and that is the symbol of Inquisiton. Maker's symbol is the sun - the one Chanry uses.

EDIT: Here is the Maker's Symbol :

According to wiki. The templar army, the Sekeers and the Chantry organized armies (Exalted Marches) were the Inquisition during the First Era. So the army would have to be massive.

hmm... perhaps our choices in character creator will be Seeker, Templar, Apostate, Chantry, Circle, backgrounds or the like. also for armor I loved Cassandra's in DA2 as well.

That wouldn't fit with Gaider's claims that we aren't required to like the Chantry. Apostate, sure, but the rest of them would likely be biased towards Andrastianism. Maybe ones like Bandit, Mercenary, Street-Rat, Disgraced Noble...

a... well maybe "path choices" as far as the classes/backgrounds I mentioned whch will probably determine your armor choices as well. :)

I bet they are going to make "Inquisitors armor", like we had "Champions armor" in DA2, and you'll drop the pieces from bosses or get them as quest rewards
