Never, ever, again? Alistair. I LOVE Alistair but lets all move on and find a new perfectly dreamy man to fangirl/fanboy over.

Honestly though I'd rather no returning characters unless they have a valid reason for actually being there and not just a "Oh hai there, now that I've referenced DA:O to hell and back, I'll leave".

I most want Nathaniel Howe to return, but I'm not really holding my breath on that one.

While I have companions I like and dislike, the only character I really never want to see again is Velanna. I really, really dislike Velanna.

That would be interesting lol... Varric having a quest line with him and the PC hunting down Bianca's "murderer", at the end of the line the PC learns its just a crossbow not a wife lol

I want Fin back.
He is a cute mage, very diffrent as Anders, Wynne and the others. A very normal boy with magic. No bloodmagic, no dark souls but funny, lazy and helpful without hidden agenda.
After seven years, he could be a LI, maybe. For the new hero.


And than I want a Warrior companion, somebody he find that mages are humans then heself or a someone other.
So far, all the warriors had something fundamentally against mages.
Even Alistair, who was fascinated by magic.

Situation: Rescue a mage (a mage, a mage is afraid, but completely normal)  from the templars
HC says: Try your luck, bring you in safety use your chance.

Warriors: Disapproves - 5/-15/-20/I hate you
Rouge: +5/+10/+15
Sebastian: -10

Where are the warriors with heart?

Want to see again: Shale, as Shayle the Dwarf again. All the sarcasm and bird hating in a much cuter package. Best of all her visual would completely change so they couldn't get it 'wrong' on the new engine.

Don't want to see again: Isabela. Not because I hate her, but because I love her best of all. It would make me incredibly sad if she was in the game and I couldn't be with her as my (main) Hawke. I don't need a repeat of my Warden's Leliana relationship. (as in completely tossed aside to a footnote) Leave me my happy memories.

I really can't decide. I like and hate a lot of characters, and I think everyone has potential for further development.

Except Wynne, I guess. SHe is the only one I would've wanted to never see again. She was such a preachy nag, and pretty much the most boirng character of everyone as well.

Corypheus he would make the perfect bad guy for DA3 with his history.

I never want to see any Dwarf esp varric ever again they are never that good of a charcter.

And I really, reallly wish that Hawke disappears from DA universe. I hope the confirmed cameo is irrelevant or avoidable.

I'd like to see Alistair again in DA3, because I made him King (with my Warden as Queen) and seeing him from game to game representing Ferelden would be a nice nod to my choices.

I don't ever want to see Oghren again. I would kill him in a fire, but that obviously doesn't work if the writers will it to be so for DLC/expansion purposes... *insert exasperated sigh HERE*

I'd love to see Sten, Shale, Sigrun and Nathaniel Howe again. Any one of them (or more, yes please!) would be awesome. I'm assuming Cullen will be making a return (as my LI), so that goes without saying.

I don't really dislike any of the characters enough to not want them back...but I do agree with several posters who didn't want their LIs to return. That would just be...weird.

This so much. I was really pissed off when they basically waved off her romance, wrote off the Warden, then crammed her back into the story.

Don't bring back love interest or characters who could die multiple times in the course of the previous game.
