More difficult then other factions, More boss type units
What do you hate about them?
Scions bugged cannon, Praetorians sync-killing you the instant they melee you and there lasers
What do you think needs buffing, and how would you buff them?
none
What do you think needs nerfing, and how would you nerf them?
fix the combo bug and scion bug, lower seeker health

Played some silver matches , they're fine , I like them. Only thing I hate is the scion . They don't send shock waves like in me2 they're more like annoying versions of ravagers , I don't like the way they fire . Bit too similar to geth pyros in the sense that you can't always see where they're firing from etc . I like the praetorian , already had an insta kill

Personally, I think they ought to make the collector webs more of a strategic target.... the longer a web is up, more possessions, more swarms, etc. I appreciate that BioWare noticed the well-armed bunker-down Gold farming was killing the fun of the game, and made the game a lot more aggressive. I don't think there a race that forces you to be on the attack so much, which would really add a twist.

I figure enough time has passed, that we can give an assessment on the Collector Faction. Rate the Collectors as if they were around since day 1. In other words, factor out their "new car smell."

I hate the Scions. They're OP.
Nothing needs a buff. Everything's already powerful.
Scions need a nerf. Their cannon, which I've been told deals 3000 damage per shot on all difficulties, needs to be nerfed, as it three-shots all characters, first hitting shield gate, then health gate, then killing you. The grenades are fine.

I hate that they're the most durable faction; that's not very balanced in my opinion.
They don't need any buffs at all.
The Trooper/Captain/Abomination/Seeker Swarms need their health/barriers to be toned down quite a bit to make them balanced enemies.
Overall, I give them a 9/10.

I do agree some of the bugs should be fixed, and some minor tonedown of Scion Spam/Swarm kill... but I second having these guys be an advanced race and having more XP/Credit payout. Adds more texture, gives the ability for new people to transition from regular silver/gold play as they improve their loadouts without wasting consumables with a terribad team.

Seriously... They really don't need a buff! lol
IMO I think that there should not be more than one possessed Pretorian/Scion enemies at any given time. For the abominations, troopers and captains... I don't really mind to see more than one.
Fighting against 2 possessed Scions, a possessed preatorian, a normal preatorian, 2 possessed captains, 2 possessed abominations plus a few low level trooper types... Overkill, not fair, not cool!

I love how Abominations force you to prioritize a low level mook. Possessions just make things interesting. I blew one up in a hack the other day and took out all three of my team mates. It was kinda funny
I think swarms need either a health decrease or a point increase. As it is, they take as much to kill as a 2nd tier mook, which is ok, but you get so few points for it. Cerberus Turrets as a comparison give you 5 or 6 times as many points.
Scions... I do have a problem with scions. Every other boss in the game has either a predictable pattern of attack or an animation that indicates what attack they're initiating. Scions just sit there and then BOOM you're either dead or sitting in a pile of grenades - but you don't know which is coming. I'd like to see some kind identifiable attack animation. If there is one and I missed it someone please enlighten me.
But, Collectors are good. Fun! Variety!

the Scion's shot a bit to unexpected, i loved them more in ME2. it was challenging to get out of their way. and grenades why? you can't sit in a cover for more than 2 sec anyways. no matter what enemy faction
Seeker Swarms are absolutely unneeded annoyance, to laggy movement and have far to much hitpoints...
same as the possesed abnorbations. explode like a f'cking nuke. i want a weapon or greande that explodes like that!!!
what happend to the good old time when only troopers or captains got possesed by harby.
and ofc harbys voice itself is missing.

Pretty challenging especially when possessed, I like how easy it is to headshot the Captains and Troopers, and the swarms are a unique enemy which do something no other unit in the game does.

lol buffing you're funny. Honestly I would buff the Praetorians but make them spawn less. Like spawn max 2 per higher waves but make them tougher to take down. Having 3 or more out on Silver matches is asinine and while they aren't to tough to take down they are fast and huge so they are tough to get away from especially if you're doing a small map like Glacier.

Nerf the damage of Scions and also fix the Praetorians cheap eye laser glitch of going through cover and walls. Also make it so Posessed Abominations have a delay before explosion of say 1 second so you can at least dodge or hop step away from the primary impact zone. That's about it really.

Praetorian beam needs fixing because it goes through walls (and you will never know will it go through your wall or not) and hits you even if you had moved outside it. Even on host.
Praetorian also uses magnetic... nipper? if you're close to it but he isn't facing you.
Everything else is fine
