Just hope they'd fix the scion's blast.

The Scions need to be fixed, but that's been confirmed as a bug and should be incoming (shots doing 2x damage, ignoring shield/healthgates, etc.). And the swarms, in all their various forms, need to be either weakened or actually have their hitbox cover the whole character model, not just that dead-centre bullseye. That really bugs me, swarm invincibility.
[Edit]: forgot to rate. I'll give them 7/10, because they haven't had the time to be balanced out yet. When they get around to fixing the confirmed bugs, I'll bump it up to 8.5/10, because even though I doubt it will be fixed, I shall always rage at the infinite superSwarms.

I really like the appearance of the enemies. The overall feel of battling the Collector's is a great one, and they look great. I like the Praetorians in particular, even though they're tough I don't feel like they're impossible to take down. I'm much more afraid of a Banshee or Scion.
I don't like Scions and Seeker Swarms/Plagues. Scions do WAY too much damage, to the point where you're forced to avoid them religiously. Doesn't help that ALL of the other Collector units, save for the Web, move very quickly. They need a tremendous damage decrease on all of their abilities, save for the melee. They should be in line with Ravagers in terms of long range performance, if not slightly worse. Maybe a slight armor increase would help compensate. Speaking of overall health increases, the Seeker Swarms/Plagues need a major reduction in health. For what they do, it's very difficult to take them out before they detonate. If you're a Vanguard and you get hit by one, you die. Ideally the duration of time that you'd be unable to use powers would be reduced, and their health would be decreased. No problems with the movement speed of the Troopers/Captains/Praetorians.
Nerfing/Buffing: See above.
I like the Collectors a lot, I think they're a great faction. But until Scions and Swarms/Plagues are fixed, I'll probably be sticking to Cerberus and Reapers. *implies that Geth also need a few changes*

I like that they have clear weaknesses and hitting those weaknesses hurts them. Also I love punching Harbinger in the face. Also Possessed Abominations.
What do you hate about them?
The people who panic. I like the enemies. Scions hit too hard but teh people panic more against them.
What do you think needs buffing, and how would you buff them?
MOAR POSSESSED ABOMINATIONS! MORE MORE MOOOOOORE!!!
What do you think needs nerfing, and how would you nerf them?
Scions. We have confirmation on them being bugged so when they're fixed it'll be all good.
Score in the sack?
10/10.

Scion is:
-Ravager with quadruple damage, regen-stopping effect, and twice the armor
-Geth Bomber who bombs from long distance
Praetorian is:
-Fast-motion Atlas whose cannon bypasses shieldgate
-Fast-motion Banshee whose sync kill mode can't be disabled and who blocks powers while charged
-Fast-motion Brute with ranged attacks and insane amounts of health
Trooper is:
-Fast-motion Cannibal with more health and a bigger gun
-Fast-motion Assault Trooper with more health and a bigger gun
-Fast-motion Geth Trooper with more health and a bigger gun
Abomination is:
-Husk with twice the health and the ability to explode and stagger you
Possessed units are:
-Even more comically overpowered compared to every other faction.
I mean, I like the Collectors and all, but they put every other faction to shame by leaps and bounds.

I do like them, but have been feeling lately that they're just as cheap as the Geth (albeit in a different way).
It's different insofar as it's worse. You get stunlocked and gibbed by Praetorians.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THEM IS THE FACT THAT THERE'S A NEW FACE TO SPLATTER ON THE WALL FROM A CRUSADER SHOTGUN, LOL
What do you hate about them?
What i hate about them is only one tiny thing......not enough abominations
What do you think needs buffing, and how would you buff them?
Don't really know what needs buffing, i love it all around
What do you think needs nerfing, and how would you nerf them?
THE ONLY THING I WOULD NERF ABOUT THEM IS THE COLLECTOR CAPTAIN'S VOICE WHEN POSSESSED

I ABSOLUTLY hate the silencer swarms. It's just crazy how much are spawning gold+ killing your shields and making you target practice for an insane amount of time.
Buffing? Maybe tweak the Rate of Big-Mobs to Troopers. Gold+ there are much too many of the big ones and very few "normal" Soldiers.
Nerf? Add a little more delay to the Praetorian's Sync-Kill , Half the Silence effect and delete the Damage from the Swarms , Bug-Fix the Scion and most importantly nerf the Possesed Captains Damage output. He's just a damned sniper totally ignoring your Shield/Health Gate. Got oneshottet with full health more than a few times.

Shoot them in the faces. Beneath the body, that open weak spot area. When you do, there's a fair chance that they'll do that funny thing they do where they flip over and drop to the ground. It stops the sync kill animation when you can trigger it.Gamemako wrote...

The other units don't trouble me much. I enjoy the far-away echoing boom of possessed abominations, the keyword being 'far-away'.

I figure enough time has passed, that we can give an assessment on the Collector Faction. Rate the Collectors as if they were around since day 1. In other words, factor out their "new car smell."

The fact that they've been crafted after months of very rigorious player testing of the original three factions. It doesn't make for an easy game. And that's before I factor in their hyper aggressive nature. What do you hate about them?
Also: Lack of targeting laser on Scions. Possessed Abominations. Praetorian beams clipping through cover. Seeker Plagues. Seeker Swarms. Scion's Cluster Grenade. Praetorians. Possessed Praetorians.
Nothing. Dam buggers do not need more buffs. What do you think needs buffing, and how would you buff them?
Targeting laser on Scions. Make Collector's overall slightly less hyper aggressive bum chargers. What do you think needs nerfing, and how would you nerf them?

- the possession mechanic mixes things up (nuclear husks are awesome)
- weak spots on scions and praetorians that have an effect beyond just extra damage
- seeker swarms slowing power use/reducing accuracy rather than damaging you directly are a neat concept for a distraction unit
What I don't like:
- Seeker swarms are too hard to kill. They move very erratically, and can take a surprising amount of damage. Imposing a penalty for not keeping aware of your surroundings is one thing, but this is a penalty that's difficult to avoid even if you know it's coming. Also, the penalty to power classes is rather harsher than to weapons classes. I don't know if this is possible, but if certain biotic/tech powers could be given a damage bonus against the swarms, that might balance things out.
- Scions do way too much damage. We'll have to wait and see how things are once the double damage bug gets fixed. As for the grenades, I'm not necessarily against the possessed version getting a means to flush you out of cover, but the frequency with which they use them may need adjustment--it seems extremely high compared to other grenade units.
- Praetorians are kind of broken. They combine the worst aspects of multiple other units (and in some cases make them worse). I'm going to split this up into three different points:
-- Praet eye lasers hit both hard and fast (as opposed to other units hitting hard or fast). Being able to ignore your shield and health gates makes their attack much more dangerous than an atlas or a prime--it's more akin to an entire swarm of phantoms focusing fire on you. The attack's sheer power alone is nasty, but then comes the part where it hits an area. A large area. An area large enough, in fact, that it can effectively shoot around corners and some pieces of cover (and at much sharper angles than primes can do). I've found that it's not uncommon for praets to kill multiple team members with a single attack, even when they weren't that close to each other.
-- Praets have a power negation field. Phantoms and banshees have power negation fields too, and they're balanced reasonably, lasting only as long as the phantom/banshee is maintaining it at the expense of not doing anything else. Praets don't have that drawback; they can activate the anti-power field, and keep on attacking, with the field lasting a long time.
-- Praets have a sync kill with a gigantic radius. Having a sync kill wouldn't be a problem if it only worked in front of them (and they couldn't turn instantly), but that's not the case. They're large, and can sync you from anywhere around them. The result is akin to banshee magnet hands, only this time it might be intentional. Also, they have a tendency to camp your body and sync you when you try to revive. They're not unique in that regard, but the problem bears repeating anyway.
