QFT. It's still true, as is the fact that the Social Forum was an amateur grade project for which I would have given a flunking grade to my students when employed as a Systems Information Technology professor. But this thread is the wrong place to throw stones at EA / Bioware, it's here to serve as a guide, not as a pulpit.castaftw wrote...
Your guide is gold. Saved me a lot of effort and whining when I could just find the correct answer here nice and easy.
Refer to the correct way to address the gamers who try to answer the questions here:
http://social.biowar...8/index/7280573 ,
Or take the complaints to EA's site.

I'm still trying to find where "throw my stones"to see if something effective is done. To see if at least some people really responsible for the system is willing to talk.

I am not versed in programming and databases, for sure there are people far more qualified than I on this topic, but I think to ultimately resolve this matter they will need to change the registration form now used by EA / Bioware. It's just my opinion on the matter. Thank you.

EA is the only official support. This forum is Self-Help, gamer to gamer.

Neither Bioware nor EA monitors this space, this thread. They are watching certain selected items and subjects recently, after a year-plus of absence, but not this thread. This is a reference, to which added requsts for help may or may not get attention, but I wouldn't bet on it now that summer is here. You probably need your own individual post, if Hemis' helps didn't work for you, in which you should SAY that you have tried what you read here, and were unsuccessful.
Kaiser, your comment is just fine. The other three here with recent comments need separate posts of their own.

Run Regedit.exe.
Find the DAUpdaterSvc entries
Mine is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SYSTEM:CurrentControlSet:Services:DAUpdaterSvc, but I also have two other control sets with the service too, so I'd change all copies that you can find.
Right click on ImagePath and select Modify.
Change the path to the correct path.
Exit.
When I tried to start the service it would return to me: System Error 2 The system cannot find the file specified.
I Just had EXACTLY this problem. Now the EADM changed the name to Origin, the registry entry above has the Eletronic Arts Path INSTEAD of the path of the origins folder where the game is installed.
It works perfectly to me now, thx.

I don't advocate game piracy, but it's sad when a pirate has an easier time playing the game and accessing all the content than an actual paying customer.

@TheodoricEichen: the DLC items earned by completing specific DLC are included in that DLC's download. Versions for Origins and Awakening are included. They are not separate downloads.
@ryukin and wildman99: There is a known issue with some versions of the Ultimate edition placing the CD key in the wrong location. There is a beta fix listed in the UE DLC thread.

I'm dual booting Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro, and unfortunately only partitioned 30 gigs for my windows data. I've made a separate, significantly larger partition for all my media and games so that both operating systems could access it, and that's where I'm keeping my copy of Dragon Age Origins. I've recently installed all the DLC, and it automatically installed into my C drive, leaving me with less than 1 gigabyte left on the C drive. While the game and the DLC runs perfectly fine, my computer itself is slowing down because of how little space is left.
I need to find a way to relocate the DLC to my media partition, though it seems (based on experience and reading through everyone's posts) that the DLC MUST be on the C drive. Can I move my "Bioware" folder from "My Documents" to my partition, and redirect it with a shortcut, or is there something else I have to do? Or am I in hot water?
Please help me out.
