Im the same with Ryukin. I run Windows7 64 bit on a HP Laptop with Dragon Age Ultimate Edition from Steam. I have the same problems, the only thing authorised is the Awakening system, yet I found something interesting I wrote on some thread a few moments ago.

If I log into my account when on the game, enter the Downloadable Content window and click refresh on the Available Content Tab, the list of content vanishes and going into the Installed tab, everything becomes authorized. If I click done and try to run a campaign however, it will become unauthorized once more. I dunno but does anyone know how to keep it authorized after that?

Step I am having some difficulties with I have gone into the cmd yet C:\\documents and Settings\\Kahlia> I cant seem to look for any fraamework or even after finding the location of the updater change the C:\\documents so that I can match the location.
Please tell me there are other options I have been trying to get this working on and off for a month now *sigh*

Ugh this sucks. Do i need to reinstall all my DLC if it is all already downloaded but it shows as unauthorized?

I am having such much trounble getting my DLC to work its horrible ... I was on the phone with EA for hours, and they couldn't help me... My DLC says its unautherized.... I manualy installed the DLC onto the game, through the DAO content updater... but my DLC says Unautherized under the Installed Content Tab.... I went through the troubleshooting guild, and im trying to reload the updater.. But I don't understand these directions...

1.)
Windows XP : Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type cmd and press ENTER
Windows Vista & 7 : Run CMD as administrator as per section 3.1.5
2.)
Naviguate to c:\\\\Windows\\\\Microsoft.NET\\\\Framework\\\\v2.0.50727\\\\
Perform these commands to do so (your prompt should be in Windows\\\\System32 by default) :
cd..
cd Microsoft.NET
cd Framework
cd v2.0.50727
installutil "C:\\\\Program Files (x86)\\\\Dragon Age\\\\bin_ship\\\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe"
net start DAUpdaterSvc

Make sure to use the path where your game is actually installed (something like c:\\\\Program Files\\\\Steam\\\\steamapps\\\\common\\\\Dragon Age\\\\ for Steam for exemple)

In case you don't have the exact same Framework version, etc... the Framework path won't work. I suggest you perform a normal file search in Windows for the file installutil.exe and note the full path and substitute your own folders to match.

You could also copy installutil.exe in your Dragon Age\\\\bin_ship\\\\ folder and simply dragging DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe on installutil.exe. As you can see it's way too hard to list all the possibilities here. It shouldn't be to hard to adapt this to your folders locations for most users.

We are still down for "unauthorized DLC"- can't load any of our save games- there was supposed to be a patch that helped fix this, has it come out yet?

The patch (1.05) is still being tinkered with. While it does resolve many outstanding DLC issues, it also has caused (or amplified) some system slowdown issues. We're expecting a new beta version soon.

Ive just had a look at my redeemed dlc list and I have noticed that a few (like the feast day pranks/gifts and the stone prisoner) have a --- where the More Info - PC used to be.

I have tried these steps repeatedly. My problem is that even though Dragon Age Updater Service shows in the services window when I look, I can't start it. I get "Windows could not start the Dragon Age Updater Service on local computer, error 3: the system cannot find the path specified" Same for trying to install it via the command prompt. Cannot find file or file does not exist for me.

Tried the live chat support from bioware but was only given links to various forums complaining of the issue, then told to manually download the dlc and install, then linked to a microsoft page explaining errors with device drivers because apparently DAUpdater is a device driver or something. I am honestly thinking of getting a refund at this point. If I log in through the game into my account and all the dlc shows as registered game content but the game itself still insists that it is all unauthorized then something is terribly wrong and I am starting to get very frustrated with it.

I am also having an issue where the DLC is showing up in the installed tab in game (which it should since I redeemed the code online and it shows that it should be mine) and it is telling me it is unauthorized. I followed the advice that I go online and chat and someone tried to get me into an xml file changing code.

I am also very frustrated and considered getting a refund. I shouldn't need to know how to code to access content that I paid for.

If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

steam download gave 2 product keys : one for DA ULTIMATE EDITION , another for DLC? I dont remember getting any redeeming codes, with the purchase either. when registering game there is no allocation for the dlc game key, nor is it accepted as a redemption code.

but actually DAupdater sevices seem to work fine, because it shows all the stats ive done in the game so far.

ALL THE DLC EXISTS but say "UNAUTHORIZED" in the box? I followed all the instructions in the trouble shooting posts

I have a some questions. I bought this game in 09 during its release and installed it to my older's brother computer. Also paid $7 for 540 points. I used that to buy Warden's Keep. I redeemed the Blood Armor and Stone Prisoner's codes. Downloaded all three to my brother's computer with no issue. After weeks of playing, I finished the game. A few months later my brother's computer crashed. Loss all the data and everything. Now I have my own laptop and wanna play the game again.

Is there any way I can still download Warden's Keep off the website? I still have the receipt when I paid $7 for the points to purchase Warden's Keep. Also, is it possible to still download Stone Prisoner off the site? Without having to pay for it. I tried redeeming the code again but it keeps saying code already redeemed. I don't want to go the illegal route. Help!

I didn't find the answer for my problem unfortunately, but maybe someone will know. Recently I decided to install again my DAO, after like a year and it seems that my Stone Prisoner, Blood Dragon Armor DLC that were redeemed the first day I bought the game, are no longer listed in my profile. Do I have to buy Shale DLC? Does my subscription for redeemed DLC runs out after a year or something? Not cool BW ):

hay im having the same problem as Pannamaslo. i have the ultimate edition of DA:O and i used my code had played it for at least a year now and this week i cant use any if my content or my saved games? none of the info at the start of the thread worked?
