pick custom and install all the optional updates as well... that will usually get all the .Net framework stuff and often fixes strange errors and failures

Platform: PC
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Game Version: 1.00 & 1.01
Issue: Downloading content stuck at 100%, and will not install.
Resolve: As posted by HemisH ( see post: http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613, under section 3.3 & 3.3.1 ), I did the following:
1. Run CMD ( windows command prompt)
2. type: net stop DAUpdaterSvc
3. Close the CMD window
4. Navigate normally with My Computer to 'My Documents>>>BioWare>>>DragonAge>>>Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml'
4a. (optional) also delete/rename (remember to backup files just in case!) ALL the .xml files within the SETTINGS folder
5. Restart computer and then start the game
6. Make sure you are logged into your DA:O online account, and go to DLC area
7. Available DLC will appear for DL, and can now be re-downloaded and (re)-installed properly!
I followed the steps above, including the 4a.(optional),and can confirm this succefully resolved my game DLC issue! Once again, special thanks goes out to HemisH (see their original post @: http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613) for this valuable information, and proving once again that a community can deploy useful strategies, fixes, and troubleshooting (often) faster then the Game Publishers/Delvs can release to the public!

Nope....not there. Just re-installed the game too, and I haven't fiddled around with the files at all. I managed to download the ones I own manually from the front page, though Stone Prisoner and the collector's edition items claim to not be authorized.

Yeah I can manually start it in both
services and the command prompt, and it shows up as running. Is there
some other reason it wouldn't be starting its DLC tasks/creating those
files?
In another weird note, I tried simply manually
downloading and installing my entitled DLC from your list. The ring and
the armor set now show as installed on the list (whereas nothing showed
up before). The Stone Prisoner shows up, but says it's unauthorized
despite being logged into the account with the DLC redeemed.
Relogging/restarting/refreshing/voodoo doesn't work. Still no manifest
file. Does this narrow my problem?
Like I wrote on the first page for the manual install, you still need to own the DLC. If nothing shows at all anywhere in the 3 tabs, it means there is no communications (for whatever reasons) between you, Bioware servers and the service.
Which means that even if you install a DLC, chances are that the game can't check your DLC to your entitled content linked to your account. This is the same as someone with a perfectly working game and DLC content who doesn't own Prisoner of Stone and decide to use the steps from my guide to install it. The game won't see that DLC as part of the DLC he can uses and will say unauthorized.
Manual install of the DLC was proposed for the people with 0% or 100% download status, which means the game can check which DLC they can download and install, in their case, a manual install could work.

Well after the new stuff I added to the first post about this, I'm fresh out of ideas. Without working directly on the computer it's harder to come up with ideas...
What version of Windows are you using?

I really like this - first i wasn't able to download any dlc coming with my Steam-version at all. Yesterday i suddenly managed to install "prisoner of stone". Today i get the message "not authorized". Look, i really like Bioware and their games but this stupid sales-stunt-charade is definitely starting to annoy me. I paid for this content and if i can't use it much longer i'll apply for a refund. Not as advertised.
You NEED to be connected to the Internet and logged in game to use DLC.
Try delogging in the game and relogging.
Try delogging, uncheck the Auto connect (or something similar), relog.
Perform 3.2.1, service could have stopped and thus can't validate content

i dont know but is it possible that it s the patch that borked DLC ? im saying this because i just got access (today ,blame amazon) to memory band, the lions's paw and feral wold charm and it s stuck in downloaded and if i click on them i see required game version 1.0 , all my other stuff like stone prisoner, warden's keep, blood armor, collectors edition etc are fine but the last 3 i got are stuck in downloaded , i checked and there is no download button to force a redownload
i did nt went trough all the 18 pages to see if it s related or not if so i appologize
Check if it gets stuck at 0% or 100% and go from there from the first post. So far the patch didn't seem to affect the DLC more than before. People seem to have the same DLC issues regardless.

OK, tried manually installing using the vanilla .dazips from your op. DAUpdater.exe goes unresponsive RIGHT at the end of installation - I mean quite literally as the blue bars hit the finish line. The DLCs don't count as installed, and nothing I try seems to work. I suspect that whatever is wrong is wrong with the procudure they are using to install these - it's not a service problem, I don't think. This is on vista 64 bit. The annoying thing is I don't get a failure log, as the program just straight crashed out.
Anybody have any ideas?
Right click daupdater.exe and try running it as Administrator before trying to install one .dazip.

I tried step 4.2 l got blood Dragon armor authorized but my others are not ? yet it had been redeemed and it say unauthorized wtf i paid for this stuff >>.
Before you installed manually, was ANYTHING showing in the three tabs? If your main issue (especially not seeing anything in the 3 tabs before starting to try workarounds) isn't resolved, the game can't validate the DLC and will refuse it.

NOTE : If your issue is similar to not seeing anything on the three content tabs in-ggame, your entitled stuff not even trying to show on the Download Content tab... all the 4.X wouldn't work because to the game, it looks like you have a DLC that you aren't authorized for the simple reason that the game in the first place (or now) can't compare the manual DLC installed to the same DLC linked to your account.
It's like if your e-mail website worked, you have an account with that website but for some reasons when you enter your username/password, it can't compare it to the list of members. Everything seems to work but just because you and the e-mail website (the game in this exemple) can't seem to communicate correctly, you'll get a access error message even tho you know you have an account.
There's a reason why this isn't listed as a solution for 0.1.1., 0.1.5, 0.1.6, 0.1.7, 0.1.8 for exemple. Or at least not as the first thing to try.
If everything worked BEFORE and you suddenly have authorized problem, 0.1.2 is for that. If only one is not authorized, you could always try reinstalling that one I doubt it would help many people.
