Really appreciate it. Seems Bioware support isn't all that communicative so I am really glad that I could solve my problems.
You are seriously great

I bought the digital deluxe edition through steam but I don't see the authorization code anywhere. I have a product code and a cd code but I don't see a DLC one.

Hello everyone
I wrote a batch-file to manually start DAUpdater and the Game, that worked fine for me.
-The batch-file needs to be run as Administrator
-If you changed installed outside the program files directory you'll need to edit the batch file first in order to use it to start dragon age.
After quiting the game the DAUpdater will be stopped again.
Here's the file:

When I try to manually start DAUpdaterSVC.exe I get the message: "Could not connect to local control server for DAUpdaterSVC. Is the serive running?"
My problem is that I dont see anything in Available content, Downloading Progress or Installed Content. I also tried to re-install the updater but it says "Cant read file..something something.. access denied" This is really pissing me off.. I bought the Deluxe Version from steam and I would like my content for christ sake.

I have a very strange kind of problem that hasnt been mentiond and is not listed.
All my items appear in the Download section, they download, extract and install fine, so I restart my game but nothing appears in the installed section. I've tried turning the updater on and off but that just makes the DLC install again?
All of them are in My Documents folder, but their not appearing in intalled tab, so I can't enable/disable any of them?
Any ideas HemisH ? D:

Running XP SP3 on standard pre-order version of the game.
Had 2 DLC promo codes for Dragon Armor and the Prisoner. Both of which were redeemed successfully and also registered my game's serial key.
Both DLC appear on the 'view redeemed promo codes' website page.
When I sign in to the game using the same account and select 'Downloadable Content' from the menu, I see offers for Purchasable content, but nothing appears in the download/installed content tabs.
I have tried clearing the download cache, removing the manifest.xml file and have tried everything with firewall/antivirus turned off.
I inspected the Logs for the game via My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Logs/DragonAge_1.log
I get the following output at the end of the log;
img97.imageshack.us/img97/4176/logt.jpg
I have submitted a ticket to EA Support regarding this. The issue seems to be that the database they are requesting data from regarding my entitlements is returning nothing where it should be returning Dragon Armor/Prisoner DLC content.
I think this is a problem on their side if I am understanding these logs correctly.
Anyone else has experienced the same and cannot solve their issues despite the best efforts of the community?
EDIT: Forums does not allow for new-line formatting or bullet points... so image link included now.

Wow new one.. errr.. hmm. Have you tried running the game and service as administrator?
When they download, extract and install, do they show in Installed Content? If they show there iny our current 'session' and just go away each time you quit and start the game, well that's a new one for me!

Indeed I have tried running both as administrator.
When they download, extract and install, I get a message pop up in game asking me to restart my game, I restart, the updater pops up, the two green bars finish, I go back to where I left off in game, I leave the game, go to 'Downloadable Content' then go to the 'Installed Content' and nothing is there, and none of the DLC is in the 'Downloading Content' either, as if their all installed but their invisible for me to enable/disable for some reason.
I have even ran the updater as administrator, went to the DAZIP files myself and made sure they installed correctly, the black box said they did. I have six DLC for use, only 3 DAZIP's are in my DAUpdater folder.
I checked the Log and for the rest of them I get this message
- Information - Processing manifest for: C:\\\\ProgramData\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\DAUpdater\\\\Data\\\\DAO_PRC_ONRX_1_1.0.dazip
06/11/2009 18:52 - Install Error for: C:\\\\ProgramData\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\DAUpdater\\\\Data\\\\DAO_PRC_ONRX_1_1.0.dazip, Error: Couldn't load manifest file (could be bad dazip archive)
No idea whats going on, would you recommend I perhaps reinstall the game? I bought the game via steam, if that has anything to do with it.
Perhaps this is just some glitch which for how my luck is, a glitch only I have, hmph.
One question, if I uninstall and reinstall my game via steam, it wont delete my saves will it?

This is something I hope I won't encounter. The issue I mean. I read on it... Nothing very useful. Some people are saying that they kept uninstalling and reinstalling the Warden's Keep DLC. So I guess 4.3 followed by 4.2 for the Warden DLC?

This is quite strange. It never asked me to restart the game when it installed all the DLC.
Did you try 3.3.1 to clear all the Updater data?
I do that and also do this :
(a part of 4.3)
Locate your AddIns folder. It's in your windows users document folder.
Windows XP c:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\YourUsername\\\\My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\AddIns\\\\
Windows Vista / 7 C:\\\\Users\\\\YourUsername\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\AddIns\\\\
Delete all the files INSIDE that folder.
And just to be 100% sure : In DA:O Launcher, click configure and then Repair and click the button "Clear Download Cache"
After all that this will have cleared the game of all the DLC installed or partially installed and cleared all the data of the updater.
This should be very close to the first time trying to get any DLC.
Start the game.
