I'm having that problem where Stone prisoner installs ok, I find the merchant, he gives me the rod, but he doesn't mark the town on my map. I even found a lot of items for Shale. Tried deleting and re-downloading and all that, nothing worked. I sent my message to EA yesterday, but I doubt they'll answer. Anyone got a real workaround/fix or some some actual official comment on this?

Just a little addendum to 3.2.2: Even if the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater is already started, it doesn't hurt to restart it.



This is what I did and after starting the game again, the DLC showed up and instantly downloaded.

Uninstalled and Reinstalled again, still no god damn luck, all my DLC's download, extract and install, yet never appear in the 'Installed Content' ARGH!



I'm seeing a pattern, when I install the DLC then leave it a few hours (installed the DLC before I went to bed) and not touch it, it shows up again in the 'Download Progress' so could this mean its saying its installing fine but it really isnt? Doesnt make much sense since the folders and DAZIP's are where they should be (folders and files in Addlns, DAZIP's in DAUpdater, right?)



Still raises more questions since I've manually installed the DAZIP's using the DAUpdater and in the black box it says so itelf ''Install Succesfull''



Just another miner problem, my DAUpdater has no words on it buttons but nothing is on them, for example I load it up, I see a small picture of a battle, on the bottom there is one large box to click, next to it I cant click the other box, I click the first one it takes me to browsing folders, so I put a DAZIP in there, click it and the other box is clickable, when I click it, it starts the instasllation. What I mean is on the two clickable boxes there is no text such as 'Upload DAZIP' and 'Install DAZIP' (which is what I presume would be there if there was text there) their just two plain boxes.



Any ideas HemisH or anyone else who is being a good saint and helping the poor here? x(



by the way HemisH I tried manaullly installing the DLC I have the rights for but when I use my updater to navigate to where I downloaded it, the updater cant find anything to upload? When I download the DLC, its meant to be an addln folder right? (When I downloaded it to a location, it was an Addln folder but when I had the option to choose where to download it, it was a file, it looked like a plain piece of paper)



Please anyone help me, I beg, I need this DLC D: Many, MANY thanks to anyone who can help me on this, and thanks to HemisH who has helped me this far, well atleast the best he could, since this is rare problem and funnily enough a rare problem which I had to get, god damn it!

Just posting to say thank you as 3.2.2. solved my main problem.

However, Warden's Keep is nowhere to be purchased. I'm kind of in a hurry, so I only skimmed through the rest... thus not sure whether the solution's already given up there. I'll have a proper look in the evening.

When I try to download the Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep or Blood Armor, it either keeps failing for some reason, stays stuck at 99%, or goes OVER 100% without installing. With that I mean it actually keeps counting up from 100%, getting to 132% for example and keeping on going. Does anyone else have similar issues?

Was the Dragon Age support you used at EA's site? If so that was the one I sent mine to with the guarantied 24hrs as well. Still no response and I'm going on 72 business hours, figured they are busy getting hammered.

I'll look through the thread and see what I can find out. I hope there is a patch or a fix to this soon. Or I think I'm going to go for a refund if it is not fixed in the new few days. Hate to be that guy but I'm almost done with the game and as grand as it would be for a second play through it was not why i purchased it.

I'm not spending money on extra DLC stuff untill bioware gets everything fixed though, poor show people.

I've got a new problem it seems. All of my DLC installed, downloaded and activated just fine. The Stone Prisoner and the Warden's Keep showed up in the game and I was able to go to them, complete them, get all the items, show that all the quests are completed. Shale is in my camp and I can choose him to add to my party, he fights and has all his abilities and I can equip him with those crystals and whatever. I have the new Blood abilities gained from Warden's Keep and I can use them.

However, when I go to talk to Shale... he breaks. The only dialog options I get are to say the special command words, as if I haven't activated him yet. Nothing else happens.

Also, when heading back to the Warden's keep, Levi acts as if I haven't completed the quests. I walk around and all the bad guys are dead, but Levi just follows me around waiting for me to 'finish' the area.

What can I do to get the game to realize that I have, in fact, finished these quests and should be able to use the items? This is incredibly frustrating. I want to be able to do Shale's quests, but I just can't talk to him. I want to be able to visit the merchant at Warden's Keep.

I had problem 0.1.1 and the fix worked great, just had to change the directory of the installutil because I use Vista 64-bit. Thanks.

I have a lot of bug/glitches. some posts say it could be from the patch. What kind of crap is that! Bioware should have sorted all of this BEFORE relasing the game. Not happy at all

Still nothing from EA going on 72 hours. I have tried everything I can think off sort of starting a new character and see if he is in the camp for them.
I do want to give a BIG thanks to the gentlemen that started this forum. I work in the industry and its fantastic to see a group of people working together to get a problem fixed while the bioware team try and figure out where things went wrong. The only negative thing I have to say is I truly wish they would make public announcement that they are aware and fixing it to sooth some nerves. It goes a long way in showing that they care.

Yup, problems with Shale for me as well.



Ran through the quest and worked fine before - but now the char seems bugged. I have had issues logging in as of late.

I'm sad seeing people coming back after everything worked. As for me everything first thing on launch day. I completed Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner yesterday. I'm a bit nervous to see that all broken the next time I play!

I'm pretty sure that whatever version you use, all the DLC are managed with your account. I had the deluxe version and had nothing included beside the game. I had to download all the special items included with my purchase.

Hi, first of all, thanks for the FAQ. After going through it, I figured that my case isn't one of the listed problems in the FAQ, but I suspect some of us are having the same problem. Here's a brief description of my problem.

I bought the Collector's Edition - for which I have a redeemable code for Stone Prisoner quest, Shale character, Blood Dragon Armor and 3 other items. I registered my game with Bioware SocialNetwork and proceeded to claim the redeemable code (successfully). However, logging into the game with same account, my point balance still shows '0' and so I can't proceed to download the Stone Prisoner quest as I need 1200 points for it. I've tried to refresh the 'wallet' many times and even restarting the game, but my balance is still zero after a long night sleep.

After checking my registered game promotions on Bioware SocialNetwork, it shows that I only entitled to the Collector's Edition goodies but nothing else.

I'd appreciate any advice on how to proceed with this. I've already sent a question to Official Dragon Age Support, but I doubt I will get any response even though one is promised within 24 hours. Thanks in advance.

You took the good action by contacting the official support. Especially since you redeemed your code and they're not showing on the social website. When they show on the social website they won't show in the Available Content with a points price. They show there for people who don't own them. (or people in your situation, at least it means you don't have the issue this thread was started for. That's a bit of good news!

Wow that's certainly a new one!

Try clearing the download cache, those 3 downloaded files might be corrupted.

Try : In DA:O Launcher, click configure and then Repair and click the button
"Clear Download Cache"
Warning : In the case of Stone Prisoner(500megs)
and Warden's Keep(300megs) it will take a while to redownload

If it doesn't work you can try 3.3.1.

Ok guys. For all the people who issues about DLC not showing up in game / getting broken / resetting / Showing Not Authorized / etc... I don't think there's any real solutions yet.

Some people had successes when uninstall and reinstalling the faulty DLC.

Here's a 12 pages thread on the subject. I skimmed some pages here on the social.bioware.com but I can't find anything conclusive.

Things to try :

• Make sure your service is started (3.2.2) or just stop it and restart it.
• Properly logged in your account in game. Try to delog and relog first.
• Check these forums for schedules servers maintenances that could prevent you from logging in game and thus breaking the DLC (at least momently).
• Try to set the game as admin (3.1.3.1. and 3.1.3.2.). The DLC files themselves are not in the normal Dragon Age game folder.
• Maybe it's an extension of the 3.1.1?
• Last resort, reinstall the faulty DLC (Section 4.)

Also, just on a hunch, it could be nice if the people with these issues could post these informations :

• Windows version
• Game version 1.0 or 1.01(the patch)
• If you have the 1.01 patch, did it only start after that?
• What version of the game to you have? Physical retail box, digital version with the seller (Steam, Impulse, D2D, etc...)?
• Did you have to use this thread (or any fiddling because it didn't work by itself) to get the DLC in the first place?
• What you already tried to fix your issue.

This is both for the users trying to help you guys in this thread and Bioware people if they're reading this.

Great post! I haven´t heard anything from tech support regarding this although I have contacted them twice already. Following the steps for running everything in adminmode did the trick for me.

Just wish I would have checked this post earlier .
