For 3.1.1, just locate your AddIns folder, right click it and select Properties.

You should see something like : C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\YourUsername\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age

In your case, to make sure it's the default location, it needs to be on the same drive your windows is installed (in most case c:) in the Users folder under your windows account username.

If you have that, you're all good on this front.

Secondly, for C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\DAUpdater\\\\\\\\

You may need to do 4.4 to show it.

Are Available Content and Installed Content completely empty?

Ok I did 3.1.1 and nothing, I also did 4.4 and nothing.
for C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\   all that shows up is a documents folder with 1 item inside and its not the bioware folder.
Also the Available Content is empty i had all ready purchased the Warden's Keep, and the Installed Content is empty because nothing is installing.

make sure that u have set the location and language settings as english (us) from control panel.

Those will be available to purchase later in the game on a vendor inside your party camp. You need to save them in Lotherings first.

Would I have to have the game downloaded on the C drive, since windows vesta is on the C drive? If so is there anyway around it? Everytime I push the play button it tells me that I have a misconfiguration and reinstall. I already reinstalled and it still is the same.

You should have no issues with installing the game on a different local drive (beside your Vista C: drive). You might encounter some DLC issues when you start changing the paths tho.

But to get the game to work, it shouldn't matter.

Ok HemisH, I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still it wont install the DLC, Im not getting any errors. It seems like the location where the DLC is, is not finding the path to the game exe, and is getting hung up. Do you know of a way to check and or correct that?

Some of the DLC will show under all 3 versions of the game (PC, Xbox360 and PS3) such as the Dragon Age Journey flash game unlocks as well as the Lucky Band ring.

If you have your Collector's Edition, special pre-order bonus from a retailer and paid DLC showing under the wrong version, well the answer is yes you're screwed for now! If this is your situation, maybe try to contact EA support and ask to transfer all your DLC to the PC game.

This could also be related to 3.1.1.

Did you also check the different steps you could try in 0.1.6.?

You can't install ANY DLC, right?

Very weird that you don't have the Bioware folder in your All Users...

I tried looking back on the thread a bit but didn't really spot a full description of your issue. Explain what you see in the 3 tabs in game.

Did you try 4.3 with 4.1 as a reference list to delete Blood Dragon Armor partially downloaded file.

Both CD-key worked just fine, when I entered them. (Now I, obviously, get an error when I try to re-enter them...)

I entered the DLC CDKEY about an hour ago and yet don't see the DLC on my game. As you can see, on the first screenshots, it is on my BioWare account and I am logged on that account in-game.

I tried making a character to see if it was downloaded, but not showing. There wasn't anything in my bags, neither in my DLC tab on the Journal.

Not too sure what to do, at this point..

I did pretty much tried anything in this thread, that was near a solution for my problem and yet.. not fixed. (Except Uninstalling)

(Note: I bought the game on steam and posted on these forums too and didn't get any help, whatsoever)

Start with the first post with the section that descriibes your issue exactly : 0.1.1.

By admin log in you mean you entered the service properties and switched from Local Service (or something) and manually selecter an administrator windows account, right?

You don't have nothing to lose by uninstall and reinstalling Framework.Net maybe? Like I said in the first post, this is one of the worst issue to troubleshoot.

In the Available Content tab there is nothing,
the Download Content I have: Warden's Keep, Stone Prisoner, Collector Edition, Blood armor. 
Warden's Keep is red and says Install Failed with the bar at 100%, The others are Green and say Ready with the bar at 0%. In the description of all of them the game version says 1.0 in Red. My game is running the update version. 
The Install Content tab is empty.

Also when I go to the DAUpdater to try and manually force the install, I click on select DAzip's and it takes me to My Documents folder where my Bioware folder is and go to the add ins folder and select the dao_prc_nrx_1 (Warden's Keep) and it keeps opening folders but will not let me select anything to install. Again I'm using Vista Home Premium 64

Ok bare with me here, I will probably repeat myself but it's the better I can do with a thread this massive. I'm starting to confused people! 

• Make sure to turn off your firewall and/or antivirus settingg  beforehand
• Is your AddIns folder => C:\\Users\\YourUsername\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\ (or C: is C: or where you installed your windows Vista) ? This is a reference to 3.1.1.
• Run the game and service themselves as administrator : 3.1.3.1. and 3.1.3.2.
• Select the DLC, in the right pane is a description of the DLC and a
  little picture. Underneath the description is a DOWNLOAD button. Try it
  to force the download.
• Check 3.2.2. to make sure the service is running (it should). If it's running right click it and stop it. Then right click it and Start it.
• I'm bummed you can't complete 3.3.1 because clearing all those semi downloaded DLC would be nice. Use 4.3 and check Show Hidden Files and uncheck Hide Protected System Files. If you have some sort of download for the DLC, the DAUptader folder should really be there. Maybe do a windows file search on DAUpdater to try and locate the folder (and not daupdater.exe from your game folder.
• In DA:O Launcher, click configure and then Repair and click the button "Clear Download Cache"
• Use 4.3 to delete all the traces of any DLC (they don't work anyway) and try 4.2 on one of the small DLC (NOT Warden's Keep or Stone Prisoner).

So obviously, don't try all of that at the same time. I tried to go from easier to harder (also from a gently carress to a warhammer to the head).

Oh and second question if my game is updated to version 1.1 might it be a problem that The stone prisoner addons shows red 1.0 as if it would require to downgrade my game version or is it of no importance??

Things just got weirder... In my "completed quests" page, there is a blank quest where the 2nd quest related to Shale should be.

I really hope they fix all of this stuff. I'd hate to have to start over.  

Okay... oddly enough, without any work on my end, that 2nd completed quest from Shale reappeared.

So... all my DLC is successfully installed, but the Warden's Keep quest is in a loop of failing to start when I try to accept it. Still no solution?

Well, CRAP, now Shale broke too. When I try to talk to him in camp, it acts as if he has not been activated. >_<; And it gets all glitchy.

I don't really like messing with with files that could be easily lost, and never downloaded again unless paying for them, so I'd like to ask if someone can help me with a rather simple answer.



I downloaded two DLCs, they are 100%, but don't appear in the Installed slot, just in the Download.

In the right side of the screen where the info of the DLC is shown, where it says what game version is necessary it says v1.00, but it's displayed in red, unlike it is on the pictures in the pdf files I found about the issue.



So what could I do?

The thing is, I haven't bought any DLC yet, just used those cards they gave me with codes on them. Ugh, I'd go and send them an email but the connection isn't working with them... bleh.. I guess I'll try calling them again...

Check this out : 

0.1.6. Some of the DLC are stuck at 100% in my Download Content tab in the game and not installing in the Installed Content tab.
0.1.8. All of the DLC are stuck at 100% in my Download Content tab in the game.
