Section 4 didn't work? It could be related to the language of your game. All my manual DLC download links are for the english version of the game.
You could try what I told jagatay. Copying your bin_ship on your Windows partition/hard drive and starting daupdater.exe from there.
I'm sorry we can't be of more help.

Using that framework cleanup tool I get the option to remove framework 1.0, 1.1 and 3.5 but not 2.0.
What gives?
I have 2.0 as when I try to run the installer it tells me it's already installed and refuses to overwrite.

What OS? I believe since Vista .net
2.0 was integrated and can therefore only be installed or uninstalled
through the Windows components menu.
Yes what I posted earlier from another thread was for Windows XP.
Did you try a Windows Update to grab all the .Net Framework updates and service packs?

I was having 0.1.8 failure, looked up the service it said it was running.
So I stopped it and started it again.
Everything moved over to Installed except Stone Prisoner, which said it failed, and now had retry button. retry worked You may want to include in 3.2.2 section try stopping and starting the service before you move them 4.1 and 4.2 sections. This may have been post else on this forum, it is long and only your original post is easy to read and find thank you once again for all your effort

(I need The Stone Prisoner credited to my account again, as it shows up fine in entitlements but wants me to download it again in-game. Soldier's Peak also disappeared from my map -- and the contents from my characters -- but no clue what to do about that.)

I tried to copy my bin_ship folder and run daupdater but i got an error that daupdater.xlm is missing. it is in "data" folder of original location.
However, i have fixed manual install problem i had, I changed location and language to U.S and English(U.S) in control panel and daupdater installs just fine. But in game, i can just download my redeemed contents but can not install still. I wonder if i need "english" net. framework?
and if this is the case, am i casteless that i have to change my country and language settings in order to play?
So Burocky you could try that as well i guess.

I'm also having a problem with Stone Prisoner. I got the rod but the town did not appear. At first, I saw that the DAO_PRC_CP_2 folder was 80MB. I downloaded it again and its now 162 MB and the problem is still there. Sounds too small. Could someone with a working Stone Prisoner DLC give me the size of the DAO_PRC_CP_2 folder? I hope I can corner my problem to twice bad download.

DAO_PRC_CP_2 - The Stone Prisoner ~514 megs
DAO_PRC_NRX_1 - Warden's Keep ~306 megs

Will I be able to keep my DLC if I choose to change my email address which I register this account and game? For what is worth, I'm not planning of selling my CE copy; I just had this random paranoid thought.

Hi, guys sorry if this has been posted before but I really need to get this off my chest as it has been bugging me.

Well the registration and DLC authorizations must be linked to your social.bioware.com account. So even if you change your e-mail, it's still your username/password account here.
It shouldn't matter...
BUT, I saw people who did this and had troubles so I would suggest NOT doing it!

Bioware is working on this issue and hopefully they'll zero in on the issue and be able to fix it correctly, at which point this thread will become useless.
So yeah, I'm really sorry that I'm not adding everything I see or think about to the first post all the time!

Wait! The names of the dlc were orange because they are direct download links? I failed at internet forums.
Thank you. Will update with the result tommorow.
EDIT: Success. The reason I could get the rod but not see Honnleath was because the download was never complete. Did a manual install step 4.2.

Ok here is my problem. I have reinstalled the DAUpdaterSvc and I still can not get the service to start. I have tryed starting it threw cmd prompt and I get error. When I try to start it within services it gives me error 5:Access denied. I am unable to get the service to start, I have it set to automatic and have tryed restarting steam and PC. I am using Vista 32, any help would be appreciated.
Did you check the 0.1.11. section where I posted what a few people with this issue did to fix it?

Not sure whether this is the right place to put this but since i'm having trouble with one of the DLC's I guess this is the place it should go.
It regards the Blood Dragon Armour. When I start a new game (specifically a Noble Dwarf), it's fine and it's in my inventory from the start.. but when I get to the end of the Noble Dwarf's intro plot then I open my inventory and find that I have no Blood Dragon Armour. I'm assuming this is a bug of some sort by any chance? Not noticed it when I tried the Common Dwarf route and it's happened twice of trying, now, of trying it with the Dwarf Noble route.
Without going into spoilers, it happens when you meet a certain Gray Warden for a second time.

What I did was, I exited my game and then went to the Downloadable Content section. I removed the Blood Dragon Armour and then restarted my game. Only way to do this is to Force Load the game when it prompts you to. Then you save the game on a separate save slot and exit, reinable your Blood Dragon Armour and it should be in your inventory. I had nothing lost on my newer game that I tried, if I can buy the other Blood Dragon parts again on my actual game then i'd consider this a success.

And a while later, my DLC appears back in Download Progress even after I install it?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
THINGS I HAVE TRIED AND HAVE NOT WORKED;
Uninstalled and Reinstalled the game. Twice.
Manually
using the DAUpdater to install the DAZIPS, even the DAUpdater says
'Install Succesfull' after each DAZIP is installed, still nothing in
'Installed Content'
Deleted
all the contents of Addlns and Offers in My Documents, and deleted all
the DAZIP's in DAUpdater, cleared my download Cache and restarted the
Updater Service for a complete fresh download of the content - still
nothing appears in 'Installed Content'
Checked
to see if the DAUpdater service is present in services.msc and set it
to normal and automatic, and have started it before running the game.
Setting
Steam and the game shortcut to run as administrator, as well as
deactivating the firewall and all my Anti Spyware while the DLC install.
Relogging
in and out via the main menu screen to my Bioware account, clicking the
refresh button on the DLC screen multiple times.
Leave the game idle in the main menu screen for a short duration
Begging the DLC to work.
Hours of web search and reading the User-made Troubleshooting post (you may
find some of my posts in regard to this) but no one else has mentiond
this problem.

I found a fix shortly after, but it's not pretty. In an earlier game it worked perfectly but in the game that I actually wanted it for it removed some other Blood Dragon equipment from my inventory so it's best to backup your save before using it.

It's a known bug. The Dwarf Origins losing all the DLC items. Bioware is aware of the issue. The "fix" so far seem to be what you did.
