Hello,

I bought the DVD version of the game. It downloads the DLC I purchased by clicking the buy button in the game but it won't install. I installed the game both in XP and Vista. It did not work. I tried to install the DLC manually by using the content updater, no luck. I used every suggestion found in the section 4 entries of this thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/81613 but again it did not work. I copy the error logs below, somebody help me (it seems the content updater cannot get list details from manifest.xml.

My game version is 1.01b. The downloadable content page in the game indicates that the Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep require the game version to be 1.0. The required version number is in RED. But my game version is 1.0.1b. Do you think the DAUpdater does not recognize my game version correctly and thus fails the extract Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep modules?

Note: I purchased the game from Turkey, but there is no Turkish version. I installed the English version of the
game, because we use UK version of the in Turkey. Is there a language version problem?

Note: I logged in the game using the account I used to purchase the DLC. I registered the game via social network to the account I purchased the DLC. I would appreciate if anybody could help me.

Is there anyway for me to recover my code from my digital copy if I never entered it? I didn't realize it was in my e-mail and I accidentally deleted it.

Do you use a program for your e-mails or just a Web-GUI?
If it is the first: Most programs don't completely delete the mails immediately but just mark them as deleted.
In that case you could look for possibilities on how to restore them on the internet.
Otherwise, try to ask those from whom you got the codes.

Alright, a few weeks ago I went to the golem quest giver and he gave me the rod and told me to go to honnleath. That town never showed up on my map. I did some other quests including warden's keep hoping it would work itself out. It didn't. I went to the EA live help chat and they told me to uninstall and reinstall the game. I did everything that they told me and now my game won't load because all my saves were in warden's keep. I started a new game, hoping that it would work. Warden's keep is unavailable and so is the Stone Prisoner quest. On top of that, my game is bugged so that the skill and sundry tome that I start with can't be used and just adds one every time I load the game. I've tried all the fixes on the first page of this thread and none of them have worked. I've also tried to manually enter the script to debug the shale and warden's keep quests, but none of them worked. Also, I notice that my new character isn't on my profile page. I don't know if that has anything to do with my problems or not? I am getting items for shale in loot drops, but I can't use them. My other DLC works fine. I noticed when I was trying to fix the problem that some of my DLC doesn't have a .dds file in the folder. Is this what the problem is? And is there a way to fix that? I'm afraid to uninstall and reinstall the game after what happened last time.

Useless message I know, but just to thank all of those who helped with the many issues the game poses. Managed to finally make it work thanks to you (wasn't easy).

I have purchased the digital deluxe version, but the downloadable content I get shown ingame is Warden's keep and Stone prisoner, which is the stuff for the normal version. So I downloaded and installed manually all the addins which I was entitled to, and edited the addins.xml file. Can this create any kind of problem?

Here's a simple tutorial on how I fixed a broken DLC package that was supposedly installed but not really working (conversations broken, quest markers not appearing, etc.) Worked for me, see if it helps.

OS: Windows 7 Professional x64

Platform: PC Download

Delivery Method: Steam

Purchased the Digital Deluxe edition off Steam.

The Updater Service was NOT installed with the game. I had to manually install it with installutil.exe

I was able to use the CD Keys provided by Steam when launching the game to register / gain access to: "Collector's Edition, Blood Dragon Armor, The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep" through social.bioware.com

I played the human mage origin story last night and met up with plot characters at Ostagar. The +3 attribute book, blood dragon armor, and a quest to go to some pass appeared in my quest log.

Today I try to play and I am unable to "resume" my game because "This saved game contains BioWare premium content. To load this saved game, an owner of the following premium content must log in: Collector's Edition, Blood Dragon Armor, Warden's Keep, Stone Prisoner."

Downloadable content section says all 4 of my "Installed" DLC is (Unauthorized) and is offering to sell me Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner.

I only have 1 EA account and I was logged into it when I was playing the first night. Why would it all of sudden think I do not own what I paid for? I waited in line for live chat, spoke with someone that elevated my concern to "Senior Support" and received an e-mail from the "Senior Support" asking me to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. Doesn't this screw up the Updater Service? Am I going to have to download another 15GB off Steam?

FREAKING TEST YOUR PRODUCT EA!!!!

*Joining the "EA Boycott" if this isn't fixed in a week*

OK thanks I wonder if somehow DAupdater and DLC packages don't detect the required game version correctly.

Hi,

which OS are you using?
Have you installed the game in C: or another logical unit?

And just for curiosity, happen also to you to have all your achievement uploaded inside the online profile, but no character?

I can't neither add my points online because look like down the page for that...

My game was running flawlessly, well except for the common slowing down of load times the longer you played.

But since reaching Landsmeet the game has become highly unstable, CTD often. graphics dissapearing in skill set screens and characters refusing to move at times.

C: D: and E:. Should I install my game on boot drive (C:), can it install the DLC content properly then?

My achievements and my character are uploaded to my online profile.

Im trying to manually install the DLC, the downloads are saved as .zip so i rename them to .dazip but all of them are coming up as "error" in the daupdater when i install them

EDIT  - got them all installed now apart from the memory band, seems like its a  corrupt file, it can't open the manifest

What corrupt file? I too can't seem to open the manifest xml --I tried the game install and manual install via updater.  How did you install the content? What should I do? Please explain to us step by step. I am talking about the Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner.

Thank you.

Okay now my daupdater has suddenly stopped working again, error 1053. What the hell kind of service is this that just starts and stops when it feels like it?

Edit: Okay, nearest I can figure is it's connected to computer restarts. Whenever my comp is booted up I have a 50/50 chance of daupdatersvc working. If it does, it works until I shut the comp off. If it doesn't it never will until a restart.
This is an irritating solution really.

manual reinstall did it,

Thank you.

DLC (shale) were working for another profile at a very early save so probably some of the quests broke it in my main campaign.
