I have been several times to the links indicated by the most recent communication I received from you all (25 November). There seems to be a real cacaphony of issues brought up.
Bottom line to me is that much of the DLC content advertised is flawed and not available to the customer for a variety of reasons. Moreover, the two add-ons (Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner) suffer from a similar end-result but carry a greater degree of importance because they were paid for in addition to the additional levies of the CE version.
My experience bottom line, is that I have spent money for products and expected enjoyment that has not been made available, and have been told that it is being worked on and feel like I'm beint left to my own devices to find a solution through the maze of forums, browsing through related and unrelated issues.
1. Has that changed in any way?
BUT I have spent many hours of my time getting some education through your extensive knowledge base, understanding that my issues were not unique to me. Of course I have not found ANY solution.
2. What would happen if you got rid of the logon format in-game and sent the content direct on CD to the paying customers ... So it could be used anytime they use the game not when they use the game under some specific logon which requires you to disarm your system protections (firewalls, anti-virus and the likes which have been accused of creating a problem for your content downloads)?

Downloading finally works, not its @ 100% and its saying (dunno exactly translation, my game is german dubbed): installation runs...
I´ve got those Red Version Number: 1.0
I´m asking here, since this "FAQ" is horrible for me, alot of , if not this, look 3.1.2, 3.1.3. or X.X.X
I cleared the Cache, deinstalled game, finally it was downloading the wardens keep.
So now the Installation is stucked, since 10 Minutes or so.
I cant manually Install the File via the Updater, since this thing crashes, manually unzipping works...
So, in the Faq was sth. about enable Folders.
I´ve got the most Folder which are invisible, visible, but i cant find "C:\\\\Users\\\\All Users\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\DAUpdater\\\\".
I dont find the way to see the ALL USERS Direction... in my German Vista Notebook Dx
I would be very thankfull if someone could help me, in getting the Wardens Keep, playable.

Oh and don't do anything that EA's staff mentions on the Live Chat section of their help page, the guy literally suggested deleting EVERYTHING (yep everything) in the Dragon Age folder in My Documents... idiot.

Bioware, this is NOT the level of service I have come to expect from you! If you do the same with the next Mass Effect installment (played the first one and loved it!) I'm not even sure I will buy it...
FIX THIS!

"Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Customer Support.
We are sorry the inconvenience caused to you. The issue you are facing looks to be related to gameplay mechanics, we are sorry but we are customer support and we don't have in-depth gameplay knowledge. We can only assist with issues related to the game itself. We would suggest you to post this issue on our forums, so that other players can help you with this."
You have got to be kidding me. The DLC is bugged, but they tell me that it's not their problem. What an absolute ripoff.

The DA content updater service is there, but I've followed the steps to remove it and reinstall it just to be safe. I still can't see any new DLC under available content.
I called EA and after some basic trouble shooting I was bumped up to a DA specialist only to wait a week and a half to get an email with faqs I have already tried. No call, just an FAQ dump.
I am a huge Bioware fan but this is driving me nuts. The level of support is atrocious. I appreciate all that has been said here but unfortunately none of it has helped me yet.

Steam is installed on my F drive, while my main drive is C, which has low space.
Dragon Age installs on my F drive, but after installation a BioWare file ends up in the My Documents area on the C Drive. I tried simply moving the contents of the BioWare folder to the Dragon Age data folder under steamapps, but it didn't work. The DLC detects and downloads, but then goes straight to the C drive. I'm unsure if the way to fix this was addressed in this FAQ as I did not see it.

I bought the game, instead of downloading it, for support, patches and DLC (and for a RPG history it claims it has (well, it has not: i enjoyed more all the older games, from BG2 to NWN2)). And what dit i got? Troubles. If you expected we will buy Mass effect 2 too, you should start to worry!
Dont complain about game piracy with this attitude towards those whou bought them....

I was having trouble launching the game after purchassing of steam. I tried a bunch of methods to get around the error. Which was something that looked like a product ID key issue.
Here is what FIXED my problems for the time being.
I launched the game configurator.
went to VIDEO options and told it to NOT start full screen
the game loaded fine. I logged in, started downloading my extra goodies.
Just started making a character now.
Oh and BTW after it loaded i pressed ALT+ENTER to run the game in fullscreen mode.
Hope this helps out more people.

Seems to me that noone realy works to solve this. They just locked themselves in with all the money they earned and dont care their child is a cripple. Even Hamish didnt posted anything for some time. The EA reply someone posted here? Wery funny, exactly what i could expected from them - you have a problem with game, byut we do only care about problems with game, so - sorry.

I'm still here. People seems to fall in four categories at this time...
- People are not really trying the things in my first post
- People with the DLC installed correctly (as far as the DLC tab shows) and encounter all kind of weird issues in game (no map markers, npc broken, shale broken, DLC resetting, DLC items vanishing, etc...). Which is almost impossible to troubleshoot via forums.
- People that really tried everything and yet still have troubles... In this case I can't really add much.
- More and more people are asking questions about stuff not related to the DLC which are covered in the other stickes.
So that's why I didn't post in a while in this thread.
I really think we can't really do more than what we all found to fix DLC issues... an official fix is what is needed at this point, to solve the issues for the people who still can't these DLC to work correctly. Let's not forget people who had to go through a lot of hoops to get them working. Those people want a fix too when they're thinking about the next time they have to reinstall Dragon Age for whatever reason.

I've tried everything listed, the DA updater service is running now, but unfortunately that part of the game is completely broken for me. I see nothing in available content, my downloads get stuck at zero.
I did use your tips to download manually and they are listed under the installed content tab but while the item DLC are in the game Shale quest and village are not. I had to use the console commands to teleport there, but it is still not on the map per se.
I can get around the Shale thing by using the console commands, but I can't get any other DLC with my points because my available content tab is always empty. I've been waiting weeks now since my first call to EA, I've gotten a few emails with FAQs I have already tried. I think we all appreciate your help but the support for this game from EA has been atrocious.
