....0.1.9. Some of your DLC are showing in the Available Content tab while you are entitled to it as seen on http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php
I'm having this problem, and don't understand where to go to solve the problem. =\\ It says
"If you are having trouble with content you are entitled to still being listed as requiring purchase follow the link in the troubleshooting guide to technical support, select the chat option, wait to be connected and then they credit the item to your account."
Though I don't know where the troubleshooting guide is or any link to technical support, nor where a chat option is. =\\

I have run halfway through the game three times now, using different origins and waiting for Return to Ostegar before continuing on. Each time, I have added Shale to my party. II was running the original game with a few mods.
Then I installed the 1.02 patch.
Since then, trying to speak with Shale while in camp causes me to enter into a void where I can speak the magic word or leave the golem alone. Of course, nothing short of reloading a previous save does anything. As I have plied Shale with lots of gifts I really do not want to reinstall the DLC.

I have been trying to solve this for a while with my machine at work. It is a Vista machine. After trying everything else with the daupdater exe and service and all the ports, in the end it was that my Documents folder was mapped to a network drive.
Remapping the documents folder to a local drive fixed the issue for me.
That's also documented in the first post but thank you for reminding folks! Maybe that's the issue from the recent posts!

Yeah that's for the official support on the official page. This can sometimes be fixed with section 3.3.1 to clean files that seem to remember what you're entitled to and what not. When it doesn't work, it could mean something is wrong with the account itself (and thus, having nothing to do on your side). However, the issue being caused by the account itself is in the minority.

my problem is that I have blood dragon armor, the stone prisoner and lately the edge is added to the list of available content that I have already redeemed so i restart the game and now these move to the downloading section as "ready" status with green highlight then i hit download starts from 0% all the way to 100% then downloading is finished THEN it starts extracting with the same status then all of a sudden it says the download is failed with "failed" satatus with the content in red highlight. i hit retry and it fails one more time re-directing me to a web site. This happened for all three of them many many MANY times bc i tried cleaning cache and also deleting DAUpdate files and Offers and Addins folders and all the .xmls (with every patch applied same actions are taken) BUT still no go. What should I do? PLEASE HELP PLEASE
- What version of Windows are you using?
- Did you move your "My Documents" folder on a different drive/partition/network than the default Windows location?
- Did you try running as administrator if on Windows Vista or Windows 7?
- Did you try using the launcher for the game instead of starting the game directly? (or the opposite depending on how you're running the game now)
- Do you have enough free space on the drive where your My Documents is located?
- What is your regional setting in Windows? You could try putting it on English - United States if it's not set to that already.
That's a good start I think.

Is that all? No more info on that error?
For now I would suggest performing Windows Update and grabbing all the .Net Framework updates and new versions.
Always hard to debug stuff from a distance without working on the computer directly but at a glance I would suspect the .Net Framework itself being corrupted or something.
If it doesn't work, you can always try to uninstall .Net Frameword 2.0 and then installing it again.

I noticed that one of my items would always start to download automatically (no input from me) and install with no problem. The other three items I had would download, but not extract and install.
After doing the section 3.3.1 fix, I found that one of my items automatically installed. I unchecked it from the Installed section. I then exited the game. I restarted the DAUpdaterSvc and then started the game. I logged out, then I logged in again. Once that was done, my other dowloadable content objects were able to be downloaded, and they extracted and installed. I then re-enabled the first item that was installed previously.
One note here. The downloads took a really long time, and appeared to be doing nothing for about 1/2 hour, then the download progress indicator started showing progress slowly. So, I waited. After about 45 minutes, my downloads were complete for my items. One item was given from the Character Creator, and the other items were given from the DAO Collector's Edition.
I have not attempted to load any other content.

Anyway, here is my question:
First off, sorry for the bad english, I am not very used to write in this language(i'm a Brazilian).
Anyway, I bought the collector edition of Dragon Age last week and went
to install it. Aside from a few problens thanks to my old dvd-drive the
installation went quite well, my problem was when i tried to redeem the
promo codes that shipped with the box. I inputed the code with the
Stone Prisoner and the one for the promo items for the Colector edition
and they worked allright and showed on my profile and in-game.
After downloading then and testing i began to wonder where my dragon
armor was... then I saw the other side of the card where the code for
the stone prisoner is, and went to redeem the code. However, to my
surprise when i redeemed the code I got the Warden's Keep insted of the
Dragon Armor! Normally I wouldn't complain about getting a free DLC,
but in this case I kinda wanted the armor, especialy for the fact you gain one in
Mass Effect 2...
I don't know if they shipped the code wrong
or was a server error that ocurred when I redeemed the code, but is
kinda of anoying, because there is no way besides the card I can get the Dragon
Armor.
I tried to contact the EA suport thing they have and
explained my problem, I put the screenshot of my registred games
promotions, with the distinct lack of dragon armor and strange presence
of the Warden's Keep, and a scan of the dragon armor card with the code
I inputed to see if it was the code that was wrong or a server problem.
All I got was an automatic response saying that to get the Dragon Armor
I should buy the game and input the code in the card......./../../images/forum/emoticons/angry.png
Anyway, if anyone has any sugestions about what should I do, I will be very grateful.

So http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php doesn't list your Dragon Armor? I'm not sure on which code this DLC is included in. Your best best is to continue working with the official EA support and try to get higher in the chain of command so they can inspect your account.

Edit: Now I'm really outraged and confused. After writing the above I thought something was wrong, I did install the patched version first and got unauthorized (Oh my, is it a patch or not?) so I proceed to install the original version and it worked... that is where I sought it wrong, the patch must be installed afterwards...
So I did reinstall the patch and got Unauthorized again... Is EA kidding with US?
Do we have a right to wardens keep, Dragon Blood or what? If we have rights to Dragon Blood it should entitle us the patch or not? (the original version works...do it? lets return the original an see).

It's a DLC in itself? it's not a patch? please someone from Bioware enlighten us about it. If so why they take the same slot?

I'm not from Bioware but as far as I know, the 1.1 version of the Blood Armor only has the fix for the female elf character wearing it. Not sure why this one would show as unauthorized.

First of all I want to thank you for that excelent thread HemisH.
It's something with the Brazilian CE ... I took for granted the wardens keep comes with every CE worldwide, it was downloaded, installed and authorized... Just now I do know that DLC is not part of CE... I'm confused...
Yet something came up as "Unknown" and I took for granted it was a corrupted Dragon Armor...
Notice Brazilians CE does not have all those fancies like mettalic (or wood) box... it has a paper map instead cloth.. and so on... Yet it costs much more than in many other coutries. So I thought the Wardens keep was a way to compensate...
It's not about money, I deem my time a lot more and frustrations and angry and the such are not good to an old gamer as myself (I'm over half century old). I just want to understand what is happening since the 'original' Dragon Blood authorizes, but not the patched one.
I'm 'ilegal' having Wardens Keep? why it came when I only redeemed and entered the codes that came inside the box? if so all my savegames risks becoming void and suddelnly unauthorized?
It's confusing, it's frustrating and surely will keep me from buying DLCs from now on, at least until Something really really worth comes up.

Good to see I'm not the only one with this problem.
I think someone screwed up when putting the codes for Dragon Blood Armor in the brazilian version of the CE and put codes for the warden's keep insted.
The code I redeemed that got me the warden's keep was in a card like the one in the end of this page http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/, that is obviously the one for the Dragon Armor...

I hope I haven't missed the answer in the opening post, if I did, I apologize in advance.
I'm from Germany, but I prefer playing my games in the original version, so I bought the English Collector's Edition. The DLCs that came with the game are (naturally) in English, but now I want to purchase "Warden's Keep" as well.
I've never before bought DLCs online (I usually prefer having a disc), but I heard that with Fallout 3 many people who are playing the English version of the game in a counrty where a localized version is available (like in Germany), where forced to purchase a localized version of the DLC, because their Games for Windows Live account (that cou needed to buy DLCs for Fallout 3) was tied to their IP adress.
Now I'm of course worried, if I'll be able to get "Warden's Keep" in English or if downloading that will lead to a Babylonian confusion of languages in my game. Can anyone she some light on this?
Thanks in advance.

Wow that's an interesting question!
The good news is that Dragon Age doesn't use Game For Windows Live. You might need to ask the official support unless someone is in the same situation as you and did purchase DLC and feels like sharing!
My hunch is that the DLC will be linked to your game version or worse, to your windows regional settings.

Should I be proud that I managed to find a question, not even someone who made a massive and very helpful troubleshooting thread, can answer? ;-)
I too am very glad that Dragon Age doesn't use EVIL.. ahh sorry, I mean LIVE, otherwise I would have done without the DLC.
I'll just wait a little to see if someone can share any insight into my language problem (I want to learn more about Giropay anyway before deciding how to pay for my Bioware Points) and otherwise contact the official support.
Linking it to the game version would be of course the sensible thing to do, but as it affects only a very small group of customers, it's probably a detail easily missed by the developers or whoever is in charge of organizing this DLC stuff. But maybe Bioware are more sensible than Bethesda and have thought about it beforehand.
In any case, thanks a lot for posting, even if you could not answer my question completely.
