I couldn't find the solution to my problem:

When I first tried to redeem the Blood Dragon code, it didn't work, saying that the code did not exist or something like that. Then I tried the same code without the "-" between the numbers, and apparently worked, since the site said it was redeemed.

Well, but it isn't available for download on the DLC menu (PC version) and when I look in my profile, it says that I DON'T have any Blood Dragon armor, and worse, I can't redeem the code again.

"Unable to redeem code.

That code has already been used, and cannot be
redeemed again."

So, had anyone the same problem?

I would post/e-mail it to EA costumer support, but it shows a error message when I try to login and the site does not open.

So when you look at your Registered Game Promotions Page it doesn't show up?

Unfortunately if that is the case EA support would have to address that. When you are logging in over there, try using your email address as your username.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but I was suffering from extremely slow and failed downloads (my internet connection is not the fastest), and found that by going back to the desktop, leaving DA running in the background, my problem was solved. Hope this helps somebody.

I manually installed Warden's Keep and it shows enabled. But when I return to camp to go the keep , Levi Dryden is missing. And there is no new place to go in the map. I heard this is a common bug but is there any answer for this ?

Try downloading and installing the offer half of the DLC, its that part that everyone is supposed to have even if they don't have Warden's Keep.

If that doesn't work you may have to use the developers console to fix up Warden's Keep.  Instructions here

Yes, there are 2 parts to each one it seems (except the dragon blood armour and item ones). The first post needs to be updated with direct links to the 2nd parts of each DLC ._. otherwise there will always be people complaining about DLC not working even after manually installing them.

hi,

i had a problem with the update service showing error 5 and 1069. i tried most of the solutions posted but they didnt work. i did however find a solution through a different approach to one listed.

The major problem with the service is that if you try to get around the error 5 by specifying an account to log in to it, it always needs a password. this caused alot of trouble since my windows admin user account wasnt using a password... so as ludicrasly simple a solution this is you just make a password for it.. after 2 hours of trying this worked without me having to uninstall bits and copy them.

control panel -> user accounts -> pick/create your admin level account -> create password -> type something..

start bar
- run - type: services.msc
- open DA origins content updater
- Log On tab (make sure the service is enabled in the hardware profile list)
- select This account -  Browse
- Advanced
- Find Now
- Select the windows user account name you have/made in the list supplied
- Click OK until you are back at the Log On tab
- Type in the Password you just made for that windows account. - Click Apply/OK
- Click start the service

job done

When I try to do the manual intstall with the DAUpdater it says windows could not start Dragon Age origins - Content Updater service on Local Computer. Error 2 The system cannot find the file specified.



Can anyone help me out here.

Have you gone through Section 3 of the FAQ (first post in this thread)? It covers issues with getting the Dragon Age Origins - Content Updater service up and running.

Good days, I newly bought the Dragon Ages and I downloaded the included contents but they are not installing and there is no DAzip file or such to do manually do it, if anyone can enlighten me much appreciated!

I have the same problem that Humanplusproject is referring to, Although the Service is visible on the services page it is not being recognized. I've been looking for a solution for quite some time with no luck.

Also when I try to manually run daupdatersvc.service.exe in the bin_ship folder I get a message saying the service is not installed. Although the service is clearly in services.msc

Particle, right click on it in the services list and select Properties. It should have a "Path to Executable". Does that match where DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe is on your computer?

You may need to search for DAUpdaterSvc in the Registry (regedit.exe). Check the ImagePath field and make sure it is the correct path to DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe. Mine says C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe (without the silly extra slashes). If DAUpdaterSvc appears multiple times in the registry change all of them.

Run Regedit.exe.

Find the DAUpdaterSvc entries

Mine is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SYSTEM:CurrentControlSet:Services:DAUpdaterSvc, but I also have two other control sets with the service too, so I'd change all copies that you can find.

Right click on ImagePath and select Modify.

Change the path to the correct path.

Exit.

well I got the content to show up and the armor works but the stone prisoner says unauthorized. went back to the FAQ and ended up on step 3.2.4. I uninstalled it just fine then when i went to reinstall I got the same thing Particle got in his first post under my first post. So I thought id follow the advise he got from Kepha, but still cant get it to work. I have two drives and C: and F: steam is on F: if that helps.

i logged into my game and my DLC was gone i exited and relogged into my game now its all back but i had a point balance of 560 points and now its missing

The server is overloaded today due to the Mass Effect 2 release. You should be able to go to the Points Website and check your Points Statement to verify your points.
