thanks ill give it a go. Ill report back if i fix it, atm im about 90% downloading DA & OA exp via steam. My God an almost 20GB DL on an 8MB connection lol, luckily my IPS is a free DL without using my quota but i got 80GBs anyways xd.

i just checked my path in services for the DA Content Up Loader, it says my path is to the E:/ where my steam used to be....but when i try and edit that in regedit it says its in C:/, sigh how to i fix that.

I even deleted the damn DAUpdater using CMD sc delete
DAUpdaterSvc.servce.exe

EDIT. having failed trying to re-set the path to the DA Content Uploader in services i have taken a different appraoch using EA download Manager. Bye Bye steam

I assume you mean that I should see them ingame in the "downloadble content" menu. Which I can't. I see nothing that I can download.

An official EA help lists DA Updater malfunction as the reason for blank DLC tab. Have you tried all the ideas listed in the thread we are currently posting in?

 I see now I haven't tried to download the service.cmd
Which I'll try to do now.

Ah. That worked like a charm. It's now downloading the DLC's

ok guys i managed to fix my issue by moving to EA download manager. It seems even though i purchased the game from STEAM i was able to use the Key in EA download Manager and re-download the game via this method.



What i did 1st though was delete the DAUdaterSvc from services then restart.



Then deleted DA from both steam and whatever was left on my machine under start/apps etc.



Deleted current EA Download Manager and EA Air, restarted.



Downloaded EA manager from EA site and updated both that and EA Air. Logged in a before i downloaded made sure that DAUdateder was not in services. Added DA Origins Deluxe into EADM and started the huge 8GB download for the 3rd time...(steam was 12GB),



Manged to get than downloaded in ok time and installed and BOOM!!!! logged into DA Origins and all my DLC started automatically appearing and downloaded no worries.



Also Added Awakening and that worked to xd.



I guess the lesson here is not to move your STEAM folder onto a different drive because some games need to be redirected for services doe DLC content...All good and thanks for the help the the OP was good with nice instructions.

I entered my game code and i cant download the dragon bllod armour for dragon age origins neither the stonewr prisoner. It's not a technical problem, its only that isnt alowed to download on the page, only lets me download de armour for mass effect 2 PC or Xbox , a game that i didnt purchased. After browsing all the help thread i cant get an answer.



I purchased the game via steam and im unable to do that on it. I also purchased the awakening expansion and it shows correctly.



So any help?

I got this issue with the downloadble content that it doesnt show up and I didnt really understand what you meant witht he "service". Everything starts up fine and when I take a look at my installed list my Dragon Age: Awakening shows up but everything else like Stone Prisoner and such doesnt come up in the list. It has acces to internet I already looked it up in my firewall.

"Try 3.2.1 and go to 3.2.2 if the service IS
listed. Try the easiest stuff before messing with installing the
service. If the service is NOT listed you have no choice but to install
it with 3.2.3 before going anywhere else in this thread!"

Well thats wierd. worked yesterday and did a few % download..today I see nothing again :/ Except for the Gifts

Just want to say thanks for this thread, guys. I've just got a new laptop, and I was frantically trying to work out why there was no DLC at all in the 3 boxes, especially because I couldn't play my old saves. But thanks to this thread, I can now go and play them to my hearts content! ... Well, when it's finished downloading the DLC, that is... ¬.¬

So the updater service was set to run manually for me. As the Mythbusters say: "Well THERE'S your problem!" Now I won't have to run an admin-powered command prompt every time I want to play the game. Thanks for the heads-up!

I see some people have had problems with downloads from steam in regards to their steam folder being on a different drive. I tried taking in all of the posts but it's more confusing than ever now.

I purchased the Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition and if im not mistaken I should have access to some of the dlc's. I'm assuming that since i have my steam folder on a different drive,,,,,that's why I can't see them. I never saw any redeem codes so Im assuming the files should have installed automatically.

Any ideas as to how i can link it so that my dlcs are available?

Hey, I just bought Return to Ostagar, but I was having problem's with "unauthorized" DLC (Everything but the DA:J rewards) while logged in, so I try EA's solution, and not only dosn't it work, but Return to Ostager (which was downloading at the time) is missing.

It's still in my registered game promotions, but for the rest it seems to have vanished

Well, I tried everthing in this thread, including reinstalling my game - and nothing works. I stil get 'unauthorised content' every time. And now I can't even continue my game since none of my saves will play.

Everthing was fine till I bought and mannually downloaded Lelliana's sond and The darkspawn chronicles. Then all my problems started.

And since when do I have to be loged in for any of the saves with DLC to load? Is this something new. I played loged off before, even tith Warden's keep and the other DLCs installed. ???

By the way, I checked and I never have Manifest.xml in my 'My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\DragonAge\\\\Settings' folder. I checked if the DAUpdater is installed, it is but when I go to start it manually it just stops and reports an error. I followed all the steps to uninstall and reinstall it, but it still doesn't work.

Help?

OMG! I had been trying to fix my dlc for days! and just stumbled over this ! First thing i try fixes the damn thing!!! thank you so much!
