Are you sure that you are logged in DA:O with the very same account you used to register Dragon Age and to redeem your promo code?

Where can i download Stone Prisoner manually? The crap ingame **** is not working and i have spent more time then necessary is with the **** dlc. When you buy something one should expect that it works without having to be a tech-genious.

Have you tried to use the DLC direct download links near the bottom of this post? For Stone Prisoner, you must download and install (with daupdater.exe) both The Stone Prisoner Offer and The Stone Prisoner.

I am having this issue myself, the Warden's Keep, Collectors Edition, and Stone Prisoner are all listed as Unauthorized in the Installed tab. I bought the Deluxe edition and the content worked fine when i first played it. I followed the steps on the support pages and then what was given in emails (which tended to be the exact same thing) and none of it worked. Can anyone tell me how i might resolve this issue?

Just so the author's post is up to date, here are links to manually download the last 2 big DLC, with the missing (and unneeded) Darkspawn Chronicles offer:

DAO_PRC_DRK_O - The Darkspawn Chronicles Offer

DAO_PRC_LEL_O - Leliana's Song Offer
DAO_PRC_LEL - Leliana's Song

DAO_PRC_GIB_O - Golems of Amgarrak Offer
DAO_PRC_GIB - Golems of Amgarrak

Greetings,
so my problem is - DLCs downloading freezes at 100% and doesn't go any further, there is no way to install them (and before I did services.msc thing, they were even invisible).
I used the following solution:

HemisH wrote...

[*]..3.3 When in-game, some DLC shows up in Downloaded and Installed with different status (Not installing, stuck at 100%, not authorized, etc...)
....3.3.1. Cleaning the Dragon Age Updater data to force the game to redetect and redownload/reinstall all your DLC

1.)
Windows XP :  Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type cmd and press ENTER
Windows Vista & 7 : Run CMD as administrator as per section 3.1.5
2.) In the command line type net stop DAUpdaterSvc
3.) Navigate normally with My Computer to 'My Documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\DragonAge\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Settings' and delete 'Manifest.xml'

Some people reported that deleting or renaming (as to not lose the files just in case) all the .xml from that folder helped them when only Manifext.xml didn't do the trick.

You may Need 4.4 to show the All Users
4.) Navigate normally with My Computer to  to 'C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Application Data\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' and delete the 'DAUpdater' folder
Under Win 7 it's c:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\All Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Bioware\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age
5.) Optional (If 3.3.1 didn't work for you before for exemple) : do 4.3 for everything in the Addins folder. Be warned that Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner are close to 1000megs (1gig) in size.
6.) In the command line type net start DAUpdaterSvc
7.) Restart Dragon Age: origins and log in
8.) Your content will be available for redownload on the Download Progress tab

[*]...however, I have problem with 6. I'm getting only something like "access denied, error", and nothing happens - I checked the game anyway and now I don't see downloadable content at all. What should I do?

This did help me a bit, tho for some reason, I can't play lelianna's song on the new patch, it tells me that my DA version isnt compitable or something like that.

I'm told it's unotherized, even tho I've payed for it and everything.  and got the latest patch

After installing 1.04 (on steam, no choice), all my DLC showed up as not working. I still get the offers, though.

After the game launch and before clicking on New, Resume or Load, try the following:

1. from main menu, check that you are logged in* then select Downloadable Content
2. if you see your DLCs on a green background and Points Balance updating, skip to step 7
3. wait for Point Balance to be updated
4. close panel
5. click again Downloadable Content
6. this time you should see your installed DLC on a green background and the Points Balance in update mode again
7. wait for Points Balance to be updated
8. close panel and load your saved game, resume a previous game or start a new one.
* You must be logged with the very same account you used to purchase your DLC(s) or to redeem your promo code(s)

You only have to proceed this way on your first load after each DA:O launch. Once this is done, you can directly load saved games during the same session.

If the above steps do not solve your issue, the next step is to try to launch the Dragon Age Updater service prior to launching the game. For this, exit the game if it is already running, open Windows main menu, select Run..., type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter. In the Services window, look for Dragon Age: Origins - Updater service. Right-click on this service and select Start in the contextual menu. Once the service has started, close the Services window, relaunch the game and repeat the above steps.

You may also find useful information about the Dragon Age Updater service here.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Sorry. I tried this morning and no luck again. I should have mentioned. I moved my Steam games to a new HDD and then DA:O was patched after that.
When trying to run the DA Updater service I get an error saying "cannot find file". Looking at its path it is the old C:/Steamapps folder not the new one. How can I change it?
PS. If I am logged out I can see and use ALL my DLC....

So maybe someone can help me out here. My updater service is running. It has admin rights and DA:O is running as admin. I can see the DLC I'm entitled to from buying the deluxe edition on Steam, but for "Required Game Version" it says "1.0" in red lettering and when I try to install any of them, I immediately get "Install failed." I tried the manual install process described in the OP and it didn't work.

Unless you want to completely reinstall Dragon Age, you can solve this issue by editing one Registry entry for the service so Windows can find its executable image. Just take care because tampering with Windows Registry if you do not know what you are doing can completely break Windows.

So, the first thing to do is to find where is located DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe on your computer and to write down its full path. Normally, this file is located in Dragon Age main folder, in bin_ship subfolder.

Next, open Windows main menu and select Run...Type "regedit" (without the quotes) and press Enter.

The Registry Editor window will open. In the left-hand column, you can notice several entries with folder-like icon and a small triangle next to each. When you click on a clear triangle, you expand the sub-entries present in this entry.

So open the following entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Services
DAUpdaterSvc

When you click on DAUpdaterSvc (not the triangle, the entry itself), you can see several lines in the right-hand part of the editor. One line is named ImagePath. Double-click on ImagePath to open its edit panel.

In the lower field of this panel, you can see the path to DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe as it is currently known by Windows (ie where this .exe file has been initially installed). If this path does not match your current path to DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe (the one you found earlier), then replace it with the correct path. Once this is done, click OK and close the Registry Editor window.

Aha, the folder location thing was the problem. I'm on a Windows domain with Folder Redirection and checking the logs on daupdater, it tries to check empty disk space before installing and since it can't verify the free disk space when being redirected to a network share, it refuses to install. (Why it doesn't install content to the game's install directory is beyond me, but whatever.) So I logged on to the local admin account on my box. The "Required Game Version" still said "1.0" in red letters as if there would be a problem, but the DLC installed without a hitch. Then I just copied C:\\Users\\[account name]\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age to its counterpart in the Documents folder for my network account.
