@ Alireza1945: Return to Ostagar is not available through the "Other Campaigns" tab - it is an additional quest in the Origins campaign, which you can access after Lothering.

i still got problems

when i check "Your registered game promotions" it showes all the DLC i registrated but for some wierd reason there is no download button:

i cannot find the DLC inngame either

the "available content" - folder is empty

this happens while i am logged in with the same email i use here... and since my characters and stuff are uploaded to this page it must be the right email



i really hope some one could help me. i am no computer expert.

How long does it take for the manual start of the Content Updater to do its thing?? It's been sitting here for a few minutes now and to my knowledge it hasn't done a single thing.

Same problem as f3LLfr0sch. For some reason can't see download links for the Blood Dragon Armor, Stone Prisoner, Feastday Gifts/Pranks or Warden's Keep.



However.... I did/do have download links for the Darkspawn Chronicles and Return to Ostagar and when I downloaded those, the other content (Blood Dragon Armor, Stone Prisoner, etc.) came with it. It was the weirdest thing. It could have just been a coincidence, but I don't think so.



To be on the safe side, though, what you should do, f3LLfr0sch, is use the daupdater.exe in your Dragon Age --> bin_ship folder first and then start the game, go to the downloadable content menu and WAIT. Just wait for a few minutes. When I did this on a whim, it wasn't intentional, while waiting for the content to download that HAD download links on my profile page, the other content just appeared out of nowhere. They had names like DAO_BDR, DAO_SP, etc, then got changed to Blood Dragon Armor and Stone Prisoner, and then were ready to download as usual.



As I said, this COULD have something to do with the fact that I downloaded Return to Ostagar and in that file had something that made the other content follow suit, but it's a worth a try, at least.

Solved my problem with the Stone Prisoner content not appearing in the game. I'm not sure where the problem was, but manually deleting and re-installing appears to have fixed it (a new location has appeared on the world map.) Thanks!

I'll also store the files for future installation in case I want to play again years from now and the servers are no longer running.

 Yesterday I bought myself Leliana's Song, Return to Ostagar and Witch Hunt. Leliana's Song and Return to Ostagar downloaded and installed just fine, it was very fast, only took a couple of minutes. But Witch Hunt doesn't seem to start at all. It stays in 0 percent.

I tried clearing download chache, I tried deleting offers.xml, I couldn't find the manual install files anywhere (where are they?), I can't see a Download-button anywhere to force it as the guide tells me to. And I'm playing through Steam, so I cannot manually apply older patches to try kick starts and whatnot. Now I'm not very happy about this, Witch Hunt was the DLC I wanted to play, I just bought the rest to keep the DA:O feeling going on longer.

Now, what should I do?

I moved my steam library to a partitioned driver and didn't c the dlc of mine.

I was reading about all the commands needed to activate my daupdater (which wasn't installed even) and then saw the sweet line of:



"You could also copy installutil.exe in your Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\ folder and simply dragging DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe on installutil.exe"

Unfortunately I'm still stuck.

I have/can:
-Installed using Steam
-Made sure my game is registered
-See the DLC as downloaded but unauthorized
-Followed the steps detailed in 0.1.10 and 3.2.4
-Changed DAUpdatersvc to "automatic" and log on specific to my account

I still cannot actually run the service. After reinstalling the service, attempts to start daupdatersvc stop at about 1/8 of the way through, giving the error message:
"The Dragon Age Origins Updater service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
After changing log on settings, I get a little further in the start process, but then still get the same error.

Any ideas? Simple searching for just the error does not really help.

Here is my problem:yesterday I bought "Witch Hunt" but it didn't appeared in the list of my registered game promotions. However the BWpoints were spent. Moreover when I tried to buy it again I couldnt because when i click "buy now" the system sends me straight to the page with my registered game promotions and there is no "Witch Hunt" again. So even with BWpoints i cant buy it again. Does anyone now what should I do?

just a quick question and i hope this is the correct place for it:

completed and i need to unistall the game, but before i do, it would be nice to know that the DLC will be available in case i wish to install again in the future. if not, is there a way to keep them for future use?

A question: I bought this Witch hunt because morrigan is awesome but that's out of the subject.

I have patch 1.04 on dragon age + have awakening installed.. i downloaded witch hunt but it's does not let me install it.. it says something about the patch 1.04.. is it just me witht his crap or did anyone else have this problem?

So, if I had DA:O installed on a secondary drive that failed on me, how do I remove the DAUpdater Service, since the path no longer exists?

ok, I'm at patch 1.04 and have all the DLC's working fine, no issues whatsoever EXCEPT for feastday gifts- there just not there. And this is has only happened recently- when I installed it back when it came out it worked fine. Then I stopped playing for a couple of months and now started again when WH came out- I've started a new campaign and Bodahn doesn't have the items. DLC is authorized, enabled and all. Anybody have an idea?

Okey, here´s my problem - I´ve borrowed the game from a friend, installed it and everything works. But two days ago I bought "The Stone Prisoner" and "Wardens Keep", and it doesn´t work! I started the game, logged in - nothing. I clicked the "Always Logged In"-button, turned of the game, turned it on again - nothing. What am I doing wrong? I don´t understand... can someone PLEASE help me? =(

i have win 7, and i installed dlc nad authorized it and when i start game it is installed, but when i play i dont have any dlc :S

I have a problem too with the DLC, they are installed and visible but I can't see the emplacement on the world map....



I tried to run the DLC "the stone prisoner" with the console and the console answer that there is no such script....



Please, I need some help!

I try to download a few DLC. I got one to 80% and it stoped and now it says "Download failed". So I used "retry" and now it stucks on 0% but I think it will failed again. Anybody knows how to stop those downloads so I can download just 1 DLC at time? Or I can find it somewhere else - on web of Bioware for example.

Had to reinstall Origins minus the patch 1.04 to get Awakening to install correctly. I have paid for all available downloadable content and played all but one of the scenarios through at least once and now it is telling me I have to buy them again. When I first reinstalled the content showed as being available for download and I did not download and install them right away, I wanted to see if the game would run after the fix, when I went back to install them suddenly they have points listed next to them as if I had not paid for them all yet, I am being asked to pay again. I have saved games that won't load because it s telling me I have to have the DLC installed. This is not an issue with my system so system information is not relevant.
