Try changing your password to something else for testing purposes. If it still doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

https://profile.ea.c...angepassword.do

You can also verify that the email address you are trying to log in with is the same one listed on top of the "my promotions" page.

Hemish,

Judging from the dialog you're techie enough. Perhaps you could help me with a Mass Effect 2 problem I'm having. I paid for the Aegis DLC about 3 days ago and it doesn't show as registered available downloads. Also my power gamer achievement never shows right. Its lit up but always stays at 0. Thanks!

Tried everything, I have the game on STEAM... install / uninstall, log in / log out, manual download and installation. Still, the game DLC is still unauthorized. Even using the DAUpdater, still unauthorized. It's just frustrating. Are there going to be any new update patches that would fix this issues coming up soon?

Maybe i'm being an idiot but I can't figure out why Warden's Keep, Leiliana's song, Return to Ostagar and The stone prisoner keep hshowing up as unauthorized. I bought a new computer and brought my old files over replaced my bioware folder since I was close to beating the game with my character. Now DA:O is saying I haven't logged in. I've logged in several times and it's still not recognizing the fact I have purchased those DLCs.

I purchased the ultimate edition off of steam and below is what I had to do to get it to work.

There is a thread on the steam forums and in it is a post that had the solution.

http://forums.steamp...d.php?t=1539737

Here is the post that fixed it for me:

"For everyone who is having problems with the DLC on the ultimate edition
- I have the answer. I was told what to do by a friend of mine who had
the same problem and his worked straight away, didn't thing the same
would work for me but gave it a try anyway.

hopefully it will work for everyone else too.

find your dragon age folder, you may have saved it else where but this is how I find mine.

C:\\\\\\\\Program Files \\\\\\\\ Steam \\\\\\\\ steamapps \\\\\\\\ common \\\\\\\\ dragon age ultimate edition

once your in there find the file that says REDIST should be near the
bottom, once in there run the file that says DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam
when that finishes run the other file called DAUServiceSetup_Steam, when
both have finished start up your dragon age ultimate and hopefully
everything should be working.
"

I'm adding some informations and renaming section 3.1.3 concerning the Run as Administrator stuff for the game itself and the service.

This could also be steps taken for people plagued by :

  • Error 5 : Access is denied when working on the service problem
  • 0% Download status for DLC items
  • 100% DLC items not moving into the Installed tab
3.1.3. Not running the game or the Updater service as administrator could cause several problems with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Before trying more advanced troubleshooting options, make sure to run the game as an administrator.
This
is performed by navigating in your Dragon Age Origins folder. right
clicking the daorigins.exe file and selecting Run as Administrator. If
it fixes your problem you'll need to enter this file properties and
tell Windows to always start as administrator when this file is
concerned.

3.1.3.1. Configuring Dragon Age: Origins to always run as an administrator

Check out this link http://www.sevenforu...inistrator.html and refer to Option Three (Using Compatibilty Mode)

Do that little procedure for the Dragon Age Origins executable which is daorigins.exe in the folder you installed the game in.

With default Steam installation it should be something like c:\\\\\\\\Program Files(x86)\\\\\\\\Steam\\\\\\\\steamapps\\\\\\\\common\\\\\\\\Dragon age origins\\\\\\\\

Steam has weird shortcuts, not sure about other digital distributors.

You can usually the http://www.sevenforu...inistrator.html procedure directly on your shortcut to your Dragon Age game. If you can't you  have to do it with the daorigins.exe file.

3.1.3.2. Configuring Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater service to always run as an administrator

Check out this link http://www.sevenforu...inistrator.html and refer to Option Three (Using Compatibilty Mode)

Do that little procedure for the Dragon Age Origins service which is DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe  in the folder you installed the game in.

Exemple : C:\\\\\\\\Program Files (x86)\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\bin_ship\\\\\\\\DAUpdaterSvc.Service.exe

[*]I put both as run as admin and I am the admin on this machine I still get the error 5 access denied

Hi I have a problem, I'm running dao on a windows 7 os 64bit and I bought the content on my vista laptop, it worked fine... but I reinstalled the game onto my new laptop... I had the option in game under my journal to install the DLC which was already registered and paid for on my account. I installed it, and it seemed like it was all dled... but then later when I met levi dryden It said that I had insufficient funds to purchase the game content... however I have already bought the content... and it's under my game promotions.

So my question is... how do I get the DLC that I've already paid for onto my game?

Humm, I've skimmed a couple of random pages but since I'm too lazy to actually read all 96 and didn't see anything about this in the first post I'll ask my question here and if anyone's already raised the issue and received an answer, please tell me where to find it.

After installing DA:O on my cleaned computer now with Windows XP 32-bit I can run the game without a hitch (don't know about Awakening as it's installed but I haven't played it yet). Anyways, when I started downloading all my purchases (RtO, Stoneprisoner, Witch Hunt, The Edge, Blood Dragon Armor, Warden's Keep, Witchcrafts for both Awakening and Origins) only Witch Hunt and Witchcraft for Awakening downloaded properly. The others all have "dowload failed" because I apparently have the wrong version of the game (required version 1.04). I've downloaded the patch twice now and installed it but it still doesn't work.

I've started dowloading them manually from my redeemed promotions site, but neither Shale, Blood Dragon Armor or The Edge have any "download manually" link.

If someone can help me so I can either download them in-game or manually I'd be very grateful.

I've finally managed to open the wikia, I'm not sure why, could be 'cause I'm in China but I have troubles opening some pages, the wikia one of them (I HATE chinese internet connections!). I checked the config-tool and saw this, can this have something to do with it?

DAOrigins.exe v1.04

DAOriginsLauncher.exe v1.01

DAOriginsConfig.exe v1.03

Uninstall Dragon Age.exe v.1.03

I also have problems connecting to the server form in-game, but I've given up on that issue after 3 days of frustration.

You will have to ask EA.  We in here are just game players.  The name of the place is misleading, although the description is accurate.  There is no way we know answers to things such as what you asked.

This works wonders, forget the crazy installing stuff first check if DAU service setup was installed. would have saved me a ****load of time:alien:

....0.1.12. Content Not Authorized when it worked before.

I'd just like to mention that you also get this error if the Dragon Age Toolset (v1.0.1008.0) is running. Exit DA:O, exit the toolset and restart.
