So, I got the xbox 360 version and was dissapointed by its graphics but thought the RPG element was something quite amazing. I then got the PC version and thought the graphical difference was astounding. And i love the more tactical gameplay. So, here's the thing. I'm gonna play the xbox 360 version as a warrior as it seems the lock on system was just created for that. But on the PC version i don't know whether to play as a mage as i don't know if it will be satisfying for noobs, or as easy. Can someone comment on this please or link me an article on how to use mages, thanks.
The other thing as well is I'd like to pick up all the knowledge i can about the tactical elements of this game. So could someone link me that aswell please?
also If there are any articles online directed towards the total noob please link em here. Thanks
Harry

First advice for a "total noob" is to enjoy the game the way you want it during your fist playthrough, don't bother about the tactics and builds man.

Mages are very powerful in this game, although you'll need a different style of playing - you can't just run up and get in everything's face the way you can with a warrior.
There are hundreds of pages of text already written on the forums with strategy, builds, and tactics advice. I recommend scanning all the forums. There's lots of good stuff here - everything from complete guides that people have written to passionate debates and disagreements about specific issues.

Honestly, I don't bother with the tactics. Too much micromanagement. I just max out the tactics slots and set characters as healers, defenders, ranged, etc.. works well enough for me.
