SAO-like scenario, or just regular VR gaming? That's the only reason I can think would make me a little nervous. And even if I was nervous of that happening, I'd still take the risk. I mean, who doesn't want to play games in VR? The only thing that sounds even remotely as cool would be AR gaming.
That'd be more like LARP though.

Pretty epic episode, Kirito is finally fighting desperately for Asuna which is personally what I was looking forward to the most.

I liked how Kirito kinda laughed at first. When he says they're siblings, he kinda gives an awkward chuckle, which of course was followed by complete shock after she started to spill her guts. Poor girl. Even though the cousin x cousin thing is okay in Japan, it's still a little weird. I can't really blame Leafa (as opposed to Sugu) for falling for Kirito though. That's gotta suck that just as she was getting over him, she finds out Kirito is the same person.
Still though, it was a pretty awesome episode. That fight scene might be my favorite in the series just because of how dragged out it was. The battles in SAO are great and all, but they're always so short.
I cried in the beginning. I can't hear Yui's crying. It kills me.

That was one of the best episode of this whole show.
The fight was great it showed why no one has cleared it yet with over 50 high level enemy with great long and short range plus for every one you kill two take its place, I can see why it's the grand quest.
And even though I knew Suguha's big scenes was coming it still hit me so hard I almost started crying for her.
All and all it was a great episode and I hope the next one is just as great.

So, regarding other things of SAO other than the newest episode, I've started watching it again with my little sister. We made it to episode 5 tonight.
She seems to understand for the most part, although I do have to explain a lot of it to her. She's not very good with all the MMO stuff. She seems to be enjoying it though, and she's a good enough reader to where she can keep up with the subs.
She was also pretty disappointed that we wouldn't be seeing Pina and Silica anymore.
Anyway, I'm letting her watch the first season with me, but the second is a little too fanservicey for me to feel comfortable letting her watch it. And the whole arc with Suguha and Kirito is something that she's not going to be able to comprehend.
And on a final note, I'm still working on the comic, if anyone's still wondering. I'm working on a storyboard still, but I keep changing a lot of concepts for the main party. I did finally manage to pick a name for the lead though.
"Saku".

I finished out the first half, but I ended up dropping the second for more or less the same reasons. I despise it being played straight for the sake of fetishism because, unlike the people this is no doubt supposed to appeal to, I am someone who has siblings, it squicks me the hell out. Eughck. So I tend to find the arrangement unrealistic and obnoxious to boot. Lord forbid anyone takes the ''imoto'' archetype and does something unique or at the very least interesting with it.
I mean on some level, I myself know it's just a fetish thing designed to titillate sad neets who are only, lonely, children.
But the frequency with which this thing shows up in a lot of anime today really makes me wonder if every other child in Japan is "adopted."

Episode 2 of Sword Art Offline is up on gogoanime.com and animefave.net, but it's the raw version still. It's been that way since yesterday. I wonder why it's taking so long to sub. Only takes like a day to sub the full episodes.
