If that happened, I would be really really sad. If they had both died it would be tragic and I would have wanted more and left feeling very flat. They wouldn't have been able to fulfill their real life plans of meeting each other, or reviving Yui or any of it.
I guess that at least, even if just for a few years, got to live out their lives as they wanted to. With a house by the lake, and each other and Yui~
I had originally thought in that moment when Asuna 'died' that Kirito would be the only one to survive and have to go on without Asuna and that destroyed me D:

It's downloaded finally. I think I'll save it for later tonight though. I want SAO to be one of the last things I see before I go to bed. I like ending the day with something I love.

He probably doesn't know. The creeper sounds like a well established family friend, he probably grew up with attactments to the family and/or Asuna's father doesn't know what he's actually like. I really hate that guy, I just want to punch him and tell him to leave Asuna alone D:

Perhaps it has something to do with their culture as far as legalities go, or the fact that her father isn't sure if she'll ever wake up. IDK. It's definitely wrong, and it makes me sad to think about it. Especially if her Father doesn't care. I wasn't want Kirito to save her so bad!

Apparently, if the anime follows the light novels as closely as it has been so far then we'll be seeing at least two more seasons out of SAO after this one.

I don't remember who said it but there was a bit of dialogue where it was stated that him marrying Asuna is illegal. Maybe that was just the English trans trying to spice the dialogue up a bit.
