I know what you mean OP, best thing to do is ignore the haters and just reply to those who actually can form a sentence without insults or unconditional hate.

Yeah... sometimes it's hard to. Sometimes you want to say something sarcastic and biting, and not just "OMG, you are so f***ing gay."

Only the former makes you feel superior. Unless you're an immature twelve-year-old. Too much of the latter. I would prefer the latter, though. Then I can just go, "No, I'm not homosexual. How is that relevant at the moment?"

What defines a hater? Someone who isn't willing to bow to majority rule? The lone wolf, the black sheep, the cunning serpent? The word "hater" is invoked too quickly regarding those not following the status quo.

What defines a hater for me is someone who publicly hates on others' opinions simply because it is different.

It's quite possible to be an individual without giving in to hate. In fact, it's quite simple. Haters tend to run in greasy little packs, so they can squeeze each others pimples and snigger at pictures of things they will never see. sniggering is always better as a social activity.

Well, is there such a thing as an objective truth? It could be that these "haters" you refer to are simply trying to enlighten others on this board to the fact that their opinions are objectively wrong.

Or we could all just be a-holes. I like to think I'm a little of both,

OP you sweetly ironical.  You tell people to not shove opinions down thorats by essentially shoving your opinion down theirs.

Not that I'm taking sides, just pointing out what I find entertaining.

Its perhaps best to just not even dignify it with attention, really.  What your doing now is just feeding divide.  I'd suggest you just ignore the haters if you don't like em.  They aren't going to stop on anything short of their own will and as long as they technically aren't breaking rules they aren't going to get banned just for having an opinion.  So ignore it.  On the internet thats a beautifully easy thing to do.  We have the fortune to not have to listen to people when they start bull****ting because of the inability to switch off our ear holes.  Or don't, idc.  I agree with the bull**** half the time anyways.

Are you saying that like it's a good thing or are you being sarcastic? I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

Anyways, you're right. In a way, those people are more annoying than trolls in that they're not TRYING to ****** people off.

How am I doing so? I certainly don't think I'm doing so. I'm not shoving my opinion down anybody's throats. I'm stating my opinion. Shoving opinions down people's throats is to give people your opinion and expect everybody to agree. I suppose you could say that's what I'm doing, but the example I'm thinking of is an atheist (I'm an atheist myself, by the way) asking a Christian rather rudely why they're not an atheist, as well. Or a Christian doing the same to an atheist. I suppose it depends on perspective.

I feel like Three Dog now. I never heard that phrase the same way after Fallout 3.

There's a saying about haters, something about...something they do. I can't recall exactly what that could be, but as I understand it is inevitable they will do it.

Honestly, I've been begging for an ignore feature on this forum for years. You think it's bad now? Wait until we start seeing screenshots and more features are confirmed. You'll get about twenty guys with a pet peeve about one specific issue jumping into literally every thread and complaining about it.

No, but it helps not having to shut your head off every time you see the SAME GUY saying the SAME THING for the twentieth time in one hour. There's only so much a human being can tolerate.

They did the exact same thing when DA2 launched. The rage wasn't nearly as big as ME3, but they still made a forum where you had to be a registered user.
