What I'm really hoping for in regard to Li's is that they try to connect as many of them as possible to the main story line (a la female warden/Alistair romance). That way the romance feels like it has a much larger impact on your character's story and isn't just a flimsy side quest type of thing.

This is a good idea with lots of pitfalls in execution.  Remember Liara's weird ninjamancing in Mass Effect 1 and 3?  And romances are meant to be optional.  If too much content is tied up in them, it comes off more mandatory even if that's not the devs' intention.

I don´t care, if characters will be bi or not. I´m okay with both options, if they will not ninjamancing me like Leliana did in all my playthroughs.

I'm a bit iffy about Cole. I had enough crazy with Anders from DA2. I'm at least hoping to romance one guy who is a little bit less angst.  . Someone fun like Alistair or Isabela.

 I know that Cole is little bit crazy and he will probably stab you, if you try to leave him, but I liked him.  
But someone funny (like Alistair) or sarcastic would be awsome too.

Yes, actually.  Male and female are terms that describe physical sex, while woman and man are terms that classify gender - and sex and gender don't necessarily match.

Little Known Video Game Fact #1: Alistair has a fetish for broodmothers. In fact, in original versions of the game, Alistair romances a broodmother if you don't romance him. With a little bit of scripting experience, you can change it back. You originally got to choose the dialogue options for the broodmother, for some reason. Footage.

LOL.  The sad thing is that next to Anders, Cole doesn't look like all that much of a nutter.

I got my nice sane guy with Garrus and my crazy with Anders, so I'm even going into DA3.

I can confirm it to you that he said it, but I'm also too lazy to find it.

I like that all characters are romanceable, but I do wish that the scenes between male and female PC would be different. Maybe they should at least have 1 or 2 moments in which the cutscenes playout differently. I think it would cost extra, but it would make the relationship a lot more meaningful, IMO, if there are some acknowledgements about your gender in the game.
