Seriously, selling worthless crap you loot from dead enemies is the #1 way to acquire/accumulate money, in my experience. This needs a fix.
Yet another case where either my behavior is so different from others or this isn't the real story because I've never had a corruption based on selling too much stuff to any vendor. One corrupt file and it happened so early in the game this ins't possible and it didn't happen in Denerim. Are you people doing some sort of potion->money thing and really dumping a ton of stuff on the vendors because in the normal course of a bunch of games I've never managed this little trick.

And yeah EA is known for being complete idiots when it comes to CS, I really wish that Bioware never became part of that company.

The only time I've known the game to corrupt saves, is when you use the money glitch, so I imagine it's your own fault.
What is this money/crystal glitch I keep hearing about? I'd like to know exactly what is it so I can avoid doing it.
Someone should post a topic about all the glitches and bugs, with details in on place, so people can be informed and avoid game killing actions.
Since it seems Bioware, Edge of Reality, EA, or whoever is responsible isn't going to fix anything I think the gamers need to band together and help each other out. I know the info is out there spread across hundreds of sub-topics and thousands of posts, but someone in the know should take it upon themselves and consolidate all this info in one place so the rest of us can easily find it.

To me this is a lot of the problem. I've not hit any of these bugs people talk about - nerfed quests, merchant limits, etc - so I'm not sure people really do know what they are or aren't talking about or what they are seeing is just part of the problem since I doubt I'm playing this that much differently than people with problems that I should be skating along. Since a lot of the usual bug-a-boos on PC games (hardware) aren't there for us 360 folks there's soemthing more amiss.
I think your idea would be a good idea but I suspect people might find a lot of confusing info.

I'm rethinking buying any more DLC or the full retail expansion until this is corrected. A bug like this is rather amateur hour... (Sorry, but I work for a software company myself... so I don't suffer things like this gladly)

Do you only sell to a single merchant? I'm serious, I've recovered darn near evetrything in the game but not had this happen. It seems like a pretty easy behavior to avoid but then again since I'm just naturally avaoiding it mayeb that makes it seem easier.
If you work in software then you should know that when users exhibit behaviors outside the realm of your test patterns that things can and do happen and selling everything you find in the game at only one spot likely ins't a scenario I'd have ever thought about testing either. QA isn't 100% and never is unless you work at the software company that uses magic to create their software.

1. Check if your game disc is scratched.
2. Check if you have any updates done to your xbox system and delete them.
3. Check to see if you have any have any good saves.
4. make sure your hard drive and/or memory stick is not damaged.
If you have any further need for info you can contact me a grom76@yahoo.com

Um it is a game glitch, I think its pretty much been proven now. I've even tested it *as others have* multiple times from different saves doing many loads and saves until I sold my last hugh batch of junk to the vendor in camp then bam corrupted saves, and you can correct it just as easily.
