Okay it isn't a big deal but they should have spears because they are a big part of combat before guns and before anyone says they don't have them in thedas look it is a sharp point on a stick (a piece of sharp medal) . Anyways I think they should since a lot of RPGs seem to be neglecting a weapon that most armies (before guns) had the DAO and DA2 didn't and Skyrim and oblivion abandoned them so does anyone think they should be in DA3.
And sorry for the rant
OMG, the run-on sentences!
A fair number of the Bioware staff who read these things are professional writers. If you want to be taken seriously then don't write like that.

I would like dual wielding rogues to get some sort of set of throwing knives or other ranged weapon to use.

Warror class would use them a spears are one of the oldest weapons and aren't hard to use if your taught to.Frocharocha wrote...
And what class would use them? Spears are difficult to control and use. But we surely see templars and mages using them at Destiny trailer.
And were you kidding about the trailer cause I haven't seen it

lol, well technically nothing is hard if you've been taught it.

I got involved with an argument with Gaider himself on this forum. (And I'm still kind of starstruck.) Point is, don't tell me they aren't reading these.

Killing High Dragons seems hard, even when you learn too lol.

Difference there is that our character hasn't been taught to in the past, but is instead experiencing it for the first time as we encounter it
Also, nice stretch but we were obviously speaking of weapons:P

Even some weapons are difficult to master and use. I'm thinking on something like domesticated dragons or medeval armors. I wonder how peopel could walk on those

It's a different group of weapons, which require their own combat animations (you can't really use two handed weapon animations for a spear) and likely their own skill tree as well. DA:O already had to build everything from the ground and DA2 didn't have enough time to add them and make them justice. They'd be welcome in DA3, but I'm not holding my breath for them. It's the kind of thing that while nice to have, would probably be inefficient from a budgeting/content use perspective.Maria Caliban wrote...
I like spears and think they'd be a nice inclusion to Thedas. I find their absence a bit odd.

I will never understand why it's more obvious to BioWare to include giant sledgehammers than spears and halberds.

They included warhammers already. The Staff of Parlathan is a mix of spear and staff.
