Not much to add except that I really liked the Arl of Amaranthine decision-making in Awakenings. Although I wish there had been some more impact from the choices, listening to and choosing appropriate dialogue options in response to the civilian's pleas felt meaningful and weighty. Applying this system to something that would work well in the context of DA3, such as interrogations, would be most welcome.

I wouldn't mind a few trials as long as they are done well. KOTOR had one as have other Bioware games.

What if it ends up our character or one of our companions is on the receiving end of the torture?

I always like the feeling of 'earning' my Titles, and even Spectre status in ME, which was clearly well earned, I always felt like I'd have liked to do a little more before I got it. So I agree with the idea of passing some kind of trial before becoming an Inquisitor, especially if we're going to be a high-up member of the group. But its not a super-huge deal to me, it'd be nice, but if we just get the big explosion and then essentially a 'hey buddy, we need all the help we can get, you in?' I can live with that, especially since we're getting a Castle :) .

Give us trials? I refuse to be put on trial! You'll have to climb my throne of mage children skulls to get me!

I actually liked that Part of DAA. (was it DAA?) and NWN2 where you could hear from your subjects and pass sentence (from a few options, each with benefits and disadvantages, I dont want a clear cut winner).

Heh, made me think of Khorne. 'Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!'

Probably the best warcry ever. Plus the most modable.

'Bread for the bread god! Sconces for the scone throne'

and of course: 'Milk for the Khorne Flakes!"

Dragon Age is not LA Noire...

It's not Dungeons and Dragons either, so I guess it shouldn't have those.

What?

You are suggesting that as it is not LA Noire, it should not have a feature that exists in LA Noire.

I am suggesting that by that logic, seeing as it's not Dungeons and Dragons, it should not have dungeons, nor dragons.

My point was deliberately over the top to emphasise the illogical point you were making. Just because another game uses a feature, doesn't automatically mean that other games shouldn't use similar ones.

The game is called Inquisition, Inquisitors are in part, detectives. The OP was suggesting that it'd be a good idea to incorporate that in the game. Do not get me wrong, I don't personally think it'd be that great a feature, but your vague post implied that it wasn't that the feature was bad, it was that "It shouldn't be in the game because it's in another game".

If that wasn't your point, then perhaps you should try writing more detailed responses so people don't make assumptions.

- We don't know if the character is an Inquisitor or not.

- Inquisitors in Thedas likely don't work the same ways as Inquisitors in the real world.

You dont know it, people that read internet knows it already. We will be Inquisitors , and we will lead Inquisition.

And we know how Inquisition works, because its described in Dragon Age 2. It will be lot same as Inquisition from Warhammer.

Some
of you people are so delusional, its like you already got into those first five stages of grief - the first stage - DENIAL.

Source? You can't call people delusional for thinking something doesn't exist if you do not have any evidence to provide that it does.

Denial also implies that people do not want to accept that we may be inquisitors. Whereas all people are saying is that so far we do not know, because it has not been confirmed, therefore we cannot 100% know.

That's called logic.

You know i cannot post the source, or ill get banned. However the people with perception  understand what the game is about already. Those that don't - they stay in their denail, the bliss, whatever... untill Bioware open their eyes.

I really liked that part od DA:A, so I'm all for an in-depth version in DA:I.
Really, anything involving politics gets a yes from me.
