Changing equipment in cutscenes?

I've played around with the cutscene editor a bit, but I've run into two minor issues.

1) How do I make a follower NPC wear whatever item they actually have equipped in the cutscene?  Morrigan seems to always revert to her standard robe (the one her creature file is defined with).  I can either have her wear her original robe or be naked, but I can't figure out how to make her equipment be dynamic like my character's.  Solved.  Just had to change the character's mapping tags to Export ResRef = False, Mapping Required = True, and Mapping Tag = <name of NPC creature> (e.g. gen00fl_morrigan for Morrigan), then the NPC wears whatever it has currently equipped in the game.

2) How do I make a follower NPC change equipment during a cutscene?  For example, if a character is receiving an item during the cutscene, how do I make them equip it?

The best I've been able to do so far is to duplicate the creature entry of the character, and make versions that each have the item(s) I want them to have equipped.  Then, I just set up the cutscene for the default one, clone that for each version, then make the one(s) visible/invisible at the relevant points in the cutscene.

That all seems a bit cumbersome, though, as I end up having multiple versions of characters for no real apparent reason.  Seems like bloat/clutter to me.

Anyone had any luck with this?
