<the wheel spins...>
'Bout time I posted a few things, I think. Don't worry, nothing too tedious. <he hopes>
First, I'd like to officially welcome Vanya Mia to the Vault team. She's come on board to back me up with news and project admin (checking the "complete" box :-P ). If you need something and can't reach me, try PMing her. <she's a nicer person, too>
Hush.
The other thing I wanted to bring up was that the Hall of Fame tools on the Vault are, er... <fubar>
Yes. Definitely fouled up. So, if you come across (or own) a project that *should* be HoF and isn't, PM us with a link so we can fix it.
Which brings me to the third point. If you see something just *annoying* on the Vault, like the bioware downloads that now link to their front-page advertising... let us know. We don't bite <*she* doesn't>
Ok, enough, bird. <hardly>
And, while I'm not trying to spend *all* my time fixing things, I am, when I find them and have a moment, fixing things. Things that annoy *me* like the multi-meg hak uploaded as... a hak. No compression. Ouch? Or the portrait pack uploaded from some other project as an anonymous name (had to hex edit it just to find out it was a .7z file) 280+ megs...
So if you find loose gremlins running around, let us know. I'm starting to be able to tell them apart, now :-/

Rolo one thing that bugs me are the number modules that are uploaded without being compressed. The reason why this bugs me is that I often end up having to download them twice because the .mod extension is also used by some kind of audio file and media player will try to play them if you just click on the link. Which can be a total pain.

<trying to look...>
Well, when you find them, write down the project number (in the url) and email me a list. That's exactly the kind of thing I want to massage, time permitting.

Simple solution from the users end.
Goto your module's folder and right click on one of your modules and select the 'Open With...' -> 'Choose Program' option.
'Browse...' To the toolset.exe or nwMain.exe, Select it to open the file.
Make sure the "Always use this program to open this kind of file." option is checked.\\
Click ok.
The file extention will now be associated with the porgram you selected, and will no longer try to run as a movie.
You will also now have the benifit of being able to open modules with the toolset by simply double clicking on the module.
EDIT: You can also remove the association with it being a MPEGVideo with msconfig, RegEdit or at the CommandLine(CMD). I just find it simpler to do it the way I gave above.

*enraptured by the Metallica S&M version of "Ecstasy of Gold"*
Amazing what a little help from friends (like the entire San Francisco Symphony) can do =)

I can't let you get away with that Rolo, here's a couple of tracks - one you probably no and one you probably don't.
The first is either a friend or a relation of the second. The second is originally from 1972, but you can buy a car via guitar hero 2.
First - you prably won't know this one.
Second - you may know this (just not this video).
