 Hello everyone. Here's the deal.

I have created this:

Image IPBImage IPBImage IPB

Now, this thing got shuffled around between computers, lost, found, whatever. Well, I finally found it again. But here's the problem- texture's toast and it's been over a year since I touched 3dsmax. Not only that, I can't animate for NWN for crap. So what I'm asking is for anyone who's a whiz with textures or animating to step up and help deliver a long-overdue model to the community.

Oh right. Just post here or send me a forum message and I'll work out getting you a copy of the model files and such.

I love the squared off chompers... like hominid teeth. makes it look deceptively humorous... just before it eats you.

Someone good with textures could make them look better, make the crap around the teeth transparent like with the Dracolich.

Pretty cool model. Good work so far! Maybe you could find an existing model to use for animations?

Ohh! It looks a little goofy, but it is very nice! Far better than the only existing tarrasque model I know of that's currently out there. Hopefully it'll work better too, and won't look like it's derping about at low movement speeds too. Best of luck to you! I'd volunteer, but I am still playing around in that department.

very good, it has the right shape for sure. Did you use an original artwork for your texture? As for your request... I´m not a good animator, sorry.

The texture on there is literally pulled directly from the MM. If you happen to know how to take a mapped texture and turn it into a new flat square texture that would be amazing- I'm good with photoshop and can at least touch it up if we can get that far.

sorry if i misunderstand you but do you mean to unwrap the model and then paste pieces of the artwork onto your unwrapped skin and modify it so it looks less stretched?

Yes. The skin there is literally the picture from the monster manual and it needs mapping to a flat texture to be cleaned up. I can't figure out how the hell to do it though.

well unwraping a model is an art itself so you should google for some tutorials about "how to unwrap" a model. Some prefer a flatten uv for specific parts and manually edit the rest. It always depends on the shape of the mesh so no ultimate way applies for everything, Also i´m sure here in the section are some very good infos how each one does that. Good luck and if you have a "specific" question then dont hesitate to ask;)

p.s. are you working with 3dsmax?... there is the modifier almost on bottom dropdown called unwrap uvw if i recall. Thats the modifier you need to skin a model. You select the mesh use the unwrapper modifier and choose a one of the many availabe options. The best way is always to apply a specific texture first...
