They have magic for a reason... Dont tell me you thought barriers were only for combat? Why else does Sandel scream "Enchantment!" all the time? He knows what's up and he doesnt even use magic!
Mages, Enchanting a blade near you!

I hope Bioware never does this. Just keep the romances as they are. There's no need to go full on Sims. The romances are fine as is.

In Inquisition we have a castle. Your female LI or another pregnant party member could be found there during this time.

I dunno, I think that a pregnancy could add a lot of emotional weight to a game and open up no end of possibilities.
I'd quite like to see it happen if it were practical to do it. If Bioware are to continue doing trilogies then it would be a nice way of linking games together too.
PS3 Generations of Doom, whilst certainly not the greatest game ever, remains very memorable because of the way the generations progressed.

Are we REALLY having threads like this pop up?
Honestly, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY THE SIMS!!!!! (I quit that game when I was 12)
Maybe the modding comunity can hook people up with their own babies that cry at inopportune times (like hiding from the Templars), require exorbiant amounts of money, and may not even be possible most of the hookups.
Maybe a mod of a haggard Hawke and his/her hetero LI staring vacantly into each other's eyes, devoid of the passion in shadows of the past, of a life in Kirkwall that seems like another life of its own........

THis. Dragon Age is supossed to be a mature game. Not a place where you should pregnant your wife and then protect your family from a cannibal horde of darkspawns.
The best thing they coukd add is; The possibilitie of finding Hawke children in Dragon Age 3, since you can have sex with ur entire party.

You can? Wow, how the hell did I miss being able to have sex with Aveline, Varric, Bethany, Carver, Tallis, and Sebastian?!

I wouldn't mind having the ability to have a mini dialogue with your love interest about kids, and that decides weather you have kids in the text of the epilogue.

Yeah. They all get brutally murdered and there is no way to save them.
I don't want anything like that. <_<

Well, BG2 did this well. There was a
pregnency with conversation included in the romance but it did not
"require" much from the storyline itself.
Agreed. Same with "A Dance With Rogues". Though again, it's tragic because she ends up getting infected with a demon plague and miscarrying.

I think the games are already dreary and dark and edgy enough without the PC's offspring being murdered.

Never mind the writers.
I'm sure if we had children as a PC, they would be brutally murdered offscreen (but your lover murdered on-screen) by Gaider and Co. as the pretext for some "Punisher" or "Batman" style PC in the DA setting.
