Return of female dwarves? Very likely. Leaving them out a second time would need an explanation and I can't see one since they were there in Origins, rarely yes, but because we're going to explore a wider world than in DA II we would need to encounter at least one.

Return as a companion? I don't think so.

Introduction as a LI? Very unlikely due to D. Gaider's statements about romances with dwarves.

Something about a romance with a short person makes him feel uncomfortable.

I approve of dwarves, especially female ones. They were extinct in DA2 which made me a sad panda.

BioWare has a habit of only showing male members of a race because apparently they represent the race or something, look at most of the mass effect races. I'm sure this has less to do with sexism and more to do with resources for character models but it's still pretty tiring to see only males. Female dwarves were some of the most memorable NPCs in DA:O and I would hope they could find the space to bring them back

She certainly did. Commenting on his rippling muscles or somesuch.

Well considering that "The Warden" could possibly appear as an NPC and that one of the choices for him/her is being a dwarf I would say that there is a most definite high chance of seeing female dwarves of some kind in DA3.
