If you are still having stuck challenges of the following: Cerberus, Geth, Collector, Reaper or Combat Mastery contact: Jesse Reid, Ernest Tse or Myself.

This does not apply to squad elite/survivor medals. 

Hello all,

Just wanted provide a status update for those who are in a stuck challenge state for Cerberus, Geth, Collector, Reaper, and Combat Mastery.

We have a potential solution for this, and are in the final phases of testing. So anyone who was visited the N7HQ at any time will receive this fix. Our hopeful rollout time is approximatley wednesday and will continue to run the script periodically for those that have not visited the N7HQ.

Note: This only applies to the 5 challenges listed.


2:30pm MT Update-

We are looking for some people with real world examples that we can run tests on, we back up your data 100% so there is no risk to you except some of your time.

If you are interested please PM me.

So far all of our tests have been successful and some players are now back to working just fine


3:30pm MT Update - We are no longer looking for volunteers script should be run shortly

4:45pm MT Update - We are now running the script for everyone, if your account is not repaired today we will be running the script tomorrow morning and periodcially after that, players can not be in game when it is run that is the reason it wouldnt work

That is great, though I am not one of those people. But I have another question. Is there any update to the squad elite banner challenge? The bug is that survival medals doesn't seem to register. A lot of people have reported this. The challenge is finished but doesn't register to the banner count for number of challenges completed.

No that change is staying permanant otherwise this issue will repeat itself

not yet i dont think, but im hoping this means theyll be able to roll it back soon.  bam instant combt mastery and within a round or two of the factionl masteries.  that would make my day

I, along with a lot of other people given some of the threads I have seen, feel like we were punished with the increase. I had the Geth in the 90s percentile before the "fix" and had to spend like a whole extra week getting the banner. Cerberus is the same way with the Nemesis and Guardian portion of the challenge given their spawn rate in relationship to the points required to get the banner.

We are not able to lower the requirements, so the liklihood is near 0.

But this is not the thread for that

Still think you need to at least double the score from husks to keep them more in line with the other enemies.

Are you guys looking into other issues, like the survival medals erroneously being displayed as not having been done even though we're at 100/100? I think there have been a few other medals that are stuck, and I know you didn't include these in the OP, just asking if work might be done in the future.

I agree I have the same problem with the Squad Elite Banner, Survival Medals challenge has not registered. And I'm close to getting the Darn Reaper challenge done, I officially HATE husks now because it takes forever to get them done. *tear*

Survivor medals we are looking into, but once again this is not the topic for those things. This is only for those with stuck challenges state for the ones I have outlined in the OP.

So if we've already done all of the challenges in one of the 5 Masteries, will we instantly get the banner when the change goes into effect? Yes is probably the obvious answer, but maybe you have to enter another match with that faction to register the change or something and I might as well ask here.

It will work in that it will set your challenges to x-1/X and then set one of the challenges at 449 999/450 000 so you need to go get 1 point to complete
