playing through mass effect 1...you talk to wrex he tells you about the genophage...theres no cure, krogan aint interested in developing a cure, it looks bleak for the krogan in mass effect 1.... yeah it changes and gets better but in mass effect 1 its pretty much clear cut that the krogan will become extinct
How did you come up with your Ingame/BSN name?

I've been using my usernames, Tentei and Extertionist for a some years now, since 7th grade I think. I like usernames that are just one word with no symbols or any of that crap in them, sometimes I have to compromise but it's not bad and people can usually see what my username is.

Kuulvo comes from a John Maddox Roberts book. The character was unremarkable other than being killed by Conan, but I liked the name. It also has the gift of obscurity, so it has not let me down since I started playing Diablo II with it.
I picked up my Origin name, Vormav, from a character in Final Fantasy Tactics and used it (and Kuulvo) in Asheron's Call. FFT still is one of my all-time favourites, but circa 1999 I was particularly enthusiastic about it and determined to allude to it with a character name; I would have preferred Gaffgarion or Wiegraf back then, but they were taken.

Origin/PSN/live/BSN ID all the same: BackdoorPaco
It all started in my junior year of highschool. I had just received my license and was taking advantage of the new found freedom.
It was late one night when I was driving home from a friends house when I hear the police sirens, I look in my rear view mirror and, sure enough, I had a cop on my tail. I couldn't believe it, I took every precaution when driving, yet I had a cop on me. I quickly pull over hoping the cop was heading somewhere else, but pulls over behind me. I began to cursing, calling myself an idiot and a worthless excuse of a human being, when I see a figure walk toward my car.
I lower my window. The cop stops and turns to me.
"Boy, do you know why I pulled you over?" he said.
"No I don't." I replied, for I really had no clue why I was pulled over.
"I pulled you over cause you too damn adorable."
My heart skipped a beat. I turned to the officer and our eyes locked. He began to remove his equipment.
His wavy blonde hair and hazel eyes glistened in the moonlit sky as I sat there, stunned, trying to comprehend what was going on. The officer reached into my car. He caressed my cheek, I blacked out.
I awoke the next morning in my bed. "Could it have been a dream," I thought to myself aloud. "No it couldn't have, it seemed so real. His hair, his eyes, his gras-"
I stopped my monologue when I noticed a note on my dresser. I got up and went to it. I began to tear up:
If only you had stayed conscious the entire time. You would have enjoyed it as much as I did. You will never see me again. But remember, you will always be the backdoor to my home.
-Officer Wilson
From that point on, I put backdoor on anything I fill out. In honor of the noble Sir Wilson.

On the "AMTN" part is my first and last name. My 1st name starts with the letter "A" and ends with "M", and my last name starts with "T" and the last letter ends with "N".
On the Ghost part, IRL I'm really quiet and sometimes I feel invisible around groups of people... =\\
But when I'm with friends I'm different.

I realized a few years back that I needed a decent online ID - back at university in the 90s I used to be Crustacean on various telnet talkers and was never completely comfortable with people calling me Crusty... (it was a bad name pun, why I ever ran with it I will never know)
So anyhoo, I woke up one day with this song in my head and decided it fit the concept of an Internet persona for me and I contracted it accordingly for Twitter and then the rest of the interwebs

When I was in high school my brother got me to make a character for a MUD (multi-user something-or-other text MMO) game, I took fire and brimstone and made brimfire to be threatening. On to 360 days, I had to use the y's to not have a number and I was too lazy to think of something else . . .

I've been "Leo" or "Leonia" for a very long time, since I was in high school. It's my zodiac sign (as if that wasn't obvious) and I'm a girl so in cases where three letter names aren't allowed, I've tended to use the username Leonia (but always encourage people to call me Leo). The name was first used for my Bothan character in SWG (there's a long story about a guild I joined pre-launch and how it led me to meeting my husband and moving across the globe but this is is the TL;DR version). In most MMOs since, my main character has usually been some variation of that theme (Leo, Liao, Leonia, etc.) and my canon Shepard is also a Leo. Anyway, the name has sort of become my online idenity outside of MMOs as time grew on so I've been using the name for about 11 years now. The 42 at the end came into being when I hit college and became a huge fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide. The lowercase l on the BSN was sort of an accident as I never intended to actually stick around and make use of the username but here I am, several years later. If you ever see another Leonia or Leonia42 out there on some other site, it's probably me.

Annomander wrote...
My name is adapted from a character in Steven Erikson's "Malazan Book of The Fallen" novels. The original character is spelled Anomander, but I've always thought it looks better as Annomander.
Just a shame some ass-hat always takes Annomander, so I'm stuck with something else at the end of my name for my origin ID.
Let's not insult people that like the same books as us. Everyone loves Anomander.
Anywho, mine's from a book I'm writing as a fun little aside in my free time.

BSN: I have an addiction.
PSN: "Sesshoumaru" is the name of a character in the anime/manga "InuYasha". I used to watch it a lot as a kid back when it aired on Adult Swim. I wouldn't say I liked it enough to don the username, but I kinda had to once getting it. Back before PS3 was released, there was a delay in Europe. To compensate, Sony allowed them to make their usernames before anyone else. I jumped for the chance, even though I'm American. I honestly didn't expect Sesshoumaru to be open for grabs, as its popular enough to always be taken. Luckily, it wasn't taken. So I snagged it. The downside of this? When PS3 came out I found out that you cannot, under any circumstances, change your Region on a PSN account. Meaning I had to make an American account to us/purchase in the store. Even had EU version of Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition before finding out about the whole "region lock" stuff like DLC. Lovely
