Yup, Collectors have definitely taken a large chunk out of the fun in this game.

Only for me to waste my medigels to revive myself and get collectively (lolpun) mugged by 9 Troopers/Abominations and sniped by Scions while trying to deactivate a beacon or whatever.
Literally next to never had this issue before but now it happens at LEAST 3 times a session of playing ME MP.
Don't think I'll search "Unknown" faction ever again until people actually learn how to fight them properly.
PS: Scions can burn in hell, they despirately need a nerf. Most OP unit in the game.

The bug has been acknowledged by Bioware, and will get fixed hopefully (tomorrow maybe?).

If you go into the game select screen, there is an option where you can select individual enemy factions, so you that you can be *guaranteed* not to get collectors. Just sayin'.

From what I heard, that only applies to combo explosions that hit Collectors that Harbinger has assumed direct control of. I might be wrong, however.OuterRim wrote...

His and many others opinion. The ones that like them the way they are, are likely the small minority.

i disagree...they've had the opposite effect on me, they've made the game more fun...it's very satisfying to get extracted after going to war with them....
I agree with this disenting opinion.

Also the Geth Bombers are stoopid and the amount of times I get stunned by them and the Geth Prime and Geth Hunter is ridiculous. I don't find being paralyzed fun, I find it absurdly annoying.

And besides, how did they take fun out of the game? They were an addition to what was already there...they didn't replace anything. All the fun that was there is still there. And plenty more was added in Retaliation.
If it's that bad, choose not to play them. Simple.

Yes, less combo explosion (specifically biotics) damage than they should... however, it's not exclusive to possessed units, iirc.
OT: I like'em... they're harder than other factions without being totally cheap, although they still have that "new car smell" to me.

They are challenging, I guess it's that you don't like. Regardless, switch up your class loadouts and powers. BioWare actually states for their DLC. (If you click the DLC specifically on the website tabs) That you will need to switch up how you play, basically. That isn't word for word but surely someone else has read this and can explain it better.
