It's bad enough they made an extended cut and said if you still don't like it tough, again what the ****? I completely understand that the Mass Effect series is their creation, BUT who pays the bills? The fricken consumer. I will not change my playing style for a game I would like to enjoy, if I wanted to break a controler again and get beyond pissed i'd play ****ing COD. They are challenging, I guess it's that you don't like. Regardless, switch up your class loadouts and powers. BioWare actually states for their DLC. (If you click the DLC specifically on the website tabs) That you will need to switch up how you play, basically. That isn't word for word but surely someone else has read this and can explain it better.
Yup, Collectors have definitely taken a large chunk out of the fun in this game.

Arguably. Mostly I'm just snarking about the fact that you appear to have blown your top over a game. And no, I wasn't upset about the endings, nor am I particularly bothered by having to adjust my playstyle to deal with the quirks of a new enemy faction.alphawolf35779 wrote...

Well someone blowing up over anything is old news, anger and frustration are only emotions that everyone has. "Snarky", do you mind if I refer to you as such? I don't really care but it's cute what your doing, daily routine considering you play alot on the PC. Lastly um, why did you include topics from my post that you had nothing to do with? And I never was "mad" slightly agitated more like.Geimhreadh wrote...

I think I've lost count of how many times I have been left on the 10th wave doing the objective by myself because everyone has been slaughtered pathetically by the Collectors.
Only for me to waste my medigels to revive myself and get collectively (lolpun) mugged by 9 Troopers/Abominations and sniped by Scions while trying to deactivate a beacon or whatever.
Literally next to never had this issue before but now it happens at LEAST 3 times a session of playing ME MP.
Don't think I'll search "Unknown" faction ever again until people actually learn how to fight them properly.
PS: Scions can burn in hell, they despirately need a nerf. Most OP unit in the game.
I like them cause they are hard w/o being cheap.
with that said wave 10 hacks are brutal stuck in a small area with the constant spam of cluster grenades, laser eyes that hit through cover, 2 enemmies that OHK and have a ton of armor, and the homing missiles the possesssed Pretoreans have.

It's also been, I hate to say it, kind of a fun challenge to figure out ways to deal with the Possessed Abominations that are coming right for you.
(EDIT: What hasn't been fun has been the Dragoon. You can go on and on about your enormous epeen and its Dragoon-destroying internet testicles, but they're still fast, they jink all over the place, they shoot you as soon as they've whipped at you, and they often move in packs. I think they are probably my least-favorite enemy, right ahead of Ravagers, and at least those guys have been around longer and have the decency to move at a reasonable pace. Even Hunters aren't so douchey.)

They just require some getting used to. Might need to mix things up a bit too. What works against Cerberus/Reapers/Geth might not necessarily work against the Collectors.

Break barrier, ragdoll them away from you (and towards any enemies, or friends you feel like screwing with), kill them.jordie3000 wrote...
As much of a pain as the Scions are, and as ridiculously quick as the Praetorians are (with their Laser Eyes of Going Through Cover +5), I still enjoy them. I mean, I'll still groan when they come up on an U/U, but they kind of feel like they were meant to be tricky. Geth are just haxx.

The problem isn't that they're too hard. The problem is that Silver Collectors is almost as hard as Reapers on Gold.
That, and the Praetorian is basically the combination of the most hated elements of all bosses. Power immunity, fast movement, two at once, random Sync-kills, stunlock, high-damage attacks that can ignore shieldgate and shoot through cover.
Also, everyone who talks about the Scion bug seems to think that fixing the bug will suddenly make them fair, when in reality, the bug pretty much only affects Krogans, and a few kits spec'd full-fitness. On Bronze. They're supposed to do 900 damage on Bronze. On Gold, they will still gate any class without a Cyclonic IV, and probably even then. Probably the only classes that could not get gated on Gold are Krogans with full fitness and a Cyclonic IV.

Kind of how the Reapers used to feel.

If you've got a class that can ragdoll stuff, sure.
I know what you're saying. I'm not complaining, I legitimately have had a bit of fun figuring out ways to deal with them on various classes. I just feel like I'm saying I like homework when I say things like that, and no self-respecting person who was ever a kid feels right saying that.

A few nerfs to scions and praetorians would do them good I think. Specifically praetorian speed, scion armour, possesed durability and damage output: those lasers do huge damage and go past health and shield gate. Nothing massive, just a little and fix the bugs.
