I'm usually on bronze maps because I'm on MP at weird hours when no one or few people are on.

Oh common guys don't you want to earn your banners on gold. Sure no one can tell, but deep down you know you really earned it.

My apologies to the community for bringing crappy guns into gold. but after grinding the grab challenge. I really wanted to feel like I earned them instead of cheesing my way for a banner. So I am earning the rest on gold.

It probably helps that there's a challenge banner in it for you if you promote 60 characters.

Simply achieving that is (60*30) = 1800 N7 rank, roughly.
(20 for levels 1-20 + 10 for promotion bonus = 30 multiplied by number of promotions needed.)

N7 3Ks aren't high 23K sounds pretty high imo. N7 3K actually at this point in time sound like they belong in bronze/silver.

if i keep running into crappy pug ill play on bronze for a match or 2, also hels when i run out of medi gel so i can play a few and buy a JEP

I'm almost 4k and I play mostly bronze unless im playing with friends then anything goes. But yeah working on my challenges plus this far into the game for me credits don't matter much.

Pretty much grinding the weapon/characters I dont usually play for challenges. When get to lv14-15 I go to Silver. Not using my normal go to builds/weapons so Gold would not be fun.

The only time i play bronze is just after a promotion. 1 one game to get my guy up to lvl 7, 8 or so then back to silver.

I play Bronze all the time now. I have fun and that's what it's all about.

Frustration with the game is not fun.

I'll start playing Silver and higher again when Bioware returns the difficulty levels to what they were before the last patch and DLC.

Playing in a terrible PUG does not mean someone can't handle it. I would classify a terrible PUG as getting stuck with people who don't use consumables or play the objectives.

this game is not only "get credits -> spend credits"
i have all the gold cards but i always love to have fun in bronze and try different combinations of powers

and maybe people play in bronze for the challenges

Playing in a terrible PUG does not mean someone can't handle it. I would classify a terrible PUG as getting stuck with people who don't use consumables or play the objectives. 

If he's so much better than silver randoms, why he didn't carry them?

OP's group - "Xbox Experienced Gold and Platinum Players". LOL.

But he plays bronze and silver. I guess he went to bronze after FB White and Glacier redesign.

Who says he didn't? I didn't read in there that he failed a bunch of terrible silver PUGs, I read that he played in a bunch of terrible silver PUGS. 

Hehe your point is valid if he did fail, I was just saying that one can play in PUGs that are not enjoyable, and still manage to succeed.

I don't even know how a really good player with powerful weapons can enjoy Bronze. I solo'd Bronze by almost exclusively grabbing enemies for the Combat Mastery banner, it's plain boring.

Again, missing the point. He didn't say that he failed. There's a difference between playing in a terrible PUG and failing because of a terrible PUG.

N7 is not a measure of skill. I play only 3 classes and don't promote. I should have had N7 116, as I have lvl 20 in all classes except for infiltrator, but the game must have derped and left me at 96. I do well on silver, decently on gold.
