N7 3Ks aren't high 23K sounds pretty high imo. N7 3K actually at this point in time sound like they belong in bronze/silver.

I'm an N7 1200, and the N7 HQ says I'm in the top 2%. So, yeah, your statement is completely wrong. N& 3K's are going to be well within the top 1%.

Weapon Challenges. Because the Disiple, Hornet and several other weapons are so pathetic that they can't even be used on silver.

You're doing them wrong then.

My disciple got it on gold.   I used it on a shadow, krogan, batarian.  it was shoot hen melee.  Hell I am even using an avenger on gold.

I'm a N7 220, so should only being playing bronze according to some...

Currently at 4460 challenge points, and i've been guilty of playing above my N7 up to silver to make weapon challenges more manageable (than gold games). The weak guns are painful to earn points in, but as i've now got both Assault Rifles and Pistols out the way, i'm hoping shotguns will be easier.

So yes m'lord, somewhat guilty as charged.

I join bronze matches because of my class promotion. I cant play on silver with lvl 1 character, i will be a burden for my team.

I can't remember the last time I played a bronze PUG (I played a private bronze game to do the krogan challenge a couple of weeks ago).

Its too easy.

That's the best place to farm credits with the smallest collateral damage lol. It's easy, and you get easy money. :D

you mean the massive 10-15k credit for a 15-20 min long game? Yeah, why would anyone want to play gold for 80k kreds in the same time?

Well, I'm in the @2000 level, personally. And I'll usually do A match at Bronze to get a few levels after I promote (And I ALWAYS promote anything the moment it hits 20, I never play a level 20 character).

I've also found Platinum is almost easier than Gold at the moment. Not because of any real difficulty enhancers, but because the people playing it tend to be better and work together. While in Gold people tend to putz around solo, barely work together, often opposite ends of map, basically. Gold is the new Silver from back before Platinum came about.

bronze games are the best to complete Katana, Predator, GPR and Incisor challenges.

It may be worth mentioning that having an n7 score that's high means promoting characters a lot. Which means lots of bronze or possibly silver matches with low level characters.

Some of the worst players I've ran into have been high N7. I just played with a guy that had an N7 2,000 something, 4,500 challenge points, and the Dog of War banner. He was awful, died multiple times each wave on Silver.

But I've been playing Bronze quite a bit lately, it makes class extraction and map challenges go faster when you can get an extract every 14-15 minutes. I'm now 4 Shadow extracts away from Survivor.

Yeah the only reason I have played bronze is to restock on consumables that I'm low on and I mean down to 1 o 4 of the item left. As well as for the extraction challenges for characters it is a quick way to get them done if you do not have time for a silver, gold or platinum run.

Yes some weapons are easier to do on bronze.  I was trying to get a feel for the kiskock since I hadnt used it in months.  I started an bronze lobby last night and was doing fine 3 people joined in wave 3.  1 was using a quarian male inf with a black widow and arc grenades.  For the rest of the match me and the other 2 could not kill anything it was either widowed or arc naded the bastard would even widow the things I submission netted to kishock.  Once match was over I noticed his 7800 n7 rank and 10k challenges points.  Well after that I decided I dont care I will do my challeges in gold and silver or solo bronze.  People are going into bronze pugs way to heavily equipped and I cant get my weak weapons done anyway.

This. I routinely promote my characters as soon as they hit level 20, just so I can do it all again. I normally play bronze until level 8-12 depending on the build, then silver 12-18 or so, then gold 15-20. Just my preference.

I was back to bronze a lot yesterday (yes, I have 4000+ challange points, and fancy banners), because I'm trying to do all the challanges that I can, which means promoting and makin 140k-200k with the ****tiest guns ever. So to put it simple, I'm not gonna take my level 1 Human Soldier with a Phaeston or a Shuriken to a Gold match, not even to a silver match, that would just be a huge insult to my team mates.

Sometimes it's fun to drop to low difficulty and just mess around for a while. Also as people have said, some weapons just aren't Platinum-grade

Low level characters and weapons get played on silver in full lobbies, or 2 person silver with a friend is a quick way to do challenges and not have to play 5 games of bronze just to but a PSP.
DBL_ZA is correct some weapons arent really plat grade but in the hands of the right player any weapon can be plat grade.

I have a N7 of 3,775.

I have been playing Bronze a lot more for two reasons.

1 - After promoting - I can rank a character up to a lvl 6-8 quickly and head back into Silver or Gold.
2 - I don't have to use consumables when I am low.

This.

That's just pathetic. I'd be ashamed to visit Bronze with N7 higher then 200.
