Is it just me or are there lots of high N7s playing bronze right now?

Character extraction challenges. 'Nuff said.

Quick games, easy points.

This one.
I can do 50 waves per hour in bronze matches with a low level character with no equipment.
It's simply the fastest and cheapest way to complete the "waves" challenges.
For the crappy weapons challenges I'd play silver.

N7 3Ks aren't high 23K sounds pretty high imo. N7 3K actually at this point in time sound like they belong in bronze/silver.

Made me laugh this one did. Peoples N7 rating determines where they belong now does it? As I'm fairly certian it has next to no meaning whatsoever.

Back to the point. It's probably people going for challenges the easy way, not the quickest , unless it's the wave number challenges.

You do know that this statement doesn't make any sense, right?

A 3000 N7 would put you in the top 1%.  That would also indicate around 600h of gameplay.  Somebody with 600 hours of game would have played around 1,800 games.  I'm pretty sure that they would be ready for gold and platinum.

I have an N7 of 1590, and that's still good enough for the top 1%. Either way, tons of people don't bother to pointlessly promote. I only do sometimes to spice up the game and play at lower levels.

I know, I was just pointing out the minimum effort it would take to get a N7 3K rank.  It was meant to point out the absurdity in the above's statement.

Challenge for 60 promotions. Bronze is quick and easy xp.

I haven't tried it yet.  But I remember an old post for those who complained that they lost all the character cards XP when level 4 ammo showed up.  They like promoting.  Someone recommended buying lots of recruit packs.    I guess I can waste a million to test out this strategy when I get home.

Today I basically promote the character that is being released, I level him up pretty quickly because of all the gold cards.

For the crappy weapons challenges i always use the n7 destroyer to get some dmg buffs.

With a good team, I can play on gold, without a team, I'd rather play silver

for waves challenge, I play bronze because it's fast

High level N7 players including myself (N7 4000+) are playing bronze simply because there are a lot less skilled players playing at higher difficulties. It's hard to find good smart players.

That assumes that the 600 hours of gameplay were spent learning to play. Sounds dumb, but really, if people aren't trying to notice patterns in spawns and enemy behavior, what spots are best to retreat too, ideal weapon/power combinations, etc etc, then what good were those 600 hours? To be honest, I didn't start to notice these things until, ummmm, MAYBE the 300th hour? Why is that? Dunno. It happens though.
