arrrgggssss.. this is ridicules.

I have update my EA profile to reflect my card and location, but still can't gt my card verified.

I can't open a TT either, as I can't load the page :(

So, what does a German fella, with a German localized PC, living in Ireland, with an Irish CC
and a UK IP needs to do, to purchase WardensKeep or to open a TT

Any suggestions

Now, it is simple etting wired... I tried a UK card from a friend of mine, punshed in the correct data and...

Even a UK card, with a UK IP can't been verified???

I have NWN and NWN2 with all add ons, JE and KotoR.. but it looks like, now that BW is with EA, they don't want
me anymore as paying customer :crying:

Mine's giving me a REALLY big problem - every time I mis-entered my information (either 'cause I screwed up or forgot to put something in), EA charged me $1. THEN my card wouldn't go through. Now I'm being charged $4 for typos. HELP ME.

Wow, I see this is still a problem. I gave up after about a week, and went the evil Paypal route. I hate Paypal, but it worked.

Totally stupid, I get the titled message while trying to buy DAO adds on, I can't even use paypal because it has its own problem and restrictions as well.

I am a British who work and live in Asia, so my bank accounts would have all been of the UK ones.

Why would any other online stores allow you to shop normally and Bioware/ EA store would not let you?

I've been having this exact same problem today and I've tried pretty much every solution I've read so far and it turns out just going and using PayPal fixed my problem...

It seems to not work for everyone but if your having trouble using a card I suggest trying PayPal, my transaction went right through without a hitch and I tried it immediately after having the "can't validate credit card" error.

I am currently stationed overseas and my state address is AE (its a military APO address) with a zip code 09012 but your website will not accept it.  Unless you accept those codes, i cannot purchase any additional points - please help!!!

so i got warden's keep mid november, and tried to buy points recently for return to ostagar, same card and info, and magically came up with this message. I hope it's not an IP thing because I'm smack dab in the middle of the U.S...kinda sucks lol

Why can't we just pay for it with real money? *sighs* Is PayPal annoying and hard to deal with or are Warden's Keep and the golem one worth it?

If you've already beaten this game, no, it's not worth all the trouble. I'd just sit and wait for an expansion... or until they fix this.

Is there any news on this point? Can we expect any? Or will customers who do not resider currently in the "country of their credit card" not be allowed to get DLC permanently?

Official word (and if possible and explanation for this strange policy) would be appreciated.

yep, vailidation error for me too. screw it. Until EA/Bioware decides to care about their cutomers and solve this issue either by fixing it or simply providing an alternate way to buy (that doesn't involve paypal) I pass. They don't want money, their loss. My two cents.

I used my visa three times in a row. the two first times it worked. Not the third. After that I have been trying now and then but the card can not be verified. What do I do?

Hah... Brilliant.

I live in Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands between England and France. They are not technically part of the UK but they are evidently not on the drop-down menu for selecting my billing location. I therefore cannot buy any DLC because my location doesn't exist according to the menu.

The site says that my CC cannot be verified. Called my bank and they told me not only that the card is ok, but there were no queries regarding my card, meaning that bioware never actually connected to their system to check. I live in Brazil. Bioware account, EA account and CC all marked as Brazil. Tried on 2 different PCs using IE and Chrome. Just for the record, I just bought 2 books online with this card.

Yeap, I hear ya man. I am from venezuela, and I use an electronic visa debit card (from entropay.com), but I still got the error message and I couldn't buy the points from the bioware site...until yesterday that I remembered that I had a paypal account linked with that card, so I went and tried it, and it worked, I was able to finally buy the warden's keep DLC. If your credit card fails every time, at least give it a try with paypal.

I used paypal many times to buy from ebay and from some sites, and worked well for me. But if you ask me an honest opinion, sometimes I feel that both DLC doesn't worth this, they are very short (well, I like the golem more since you have a new ally...but the warden's keep was a dissapointment for me, even though I liked the armor that comes with it)

Really bioware, you need to fix these errors ASAP, many people in USA and around the world is trying to BUY from you, darn it, why not make things easier for your clients? specially if that's going to be your future business model.

I am having the same issue. I am in Puerto Rico but my billing address is set to St. Louis, MO. I have the same problem buying on steam but all I have to do is send Steam support a message and they unlock my account in order for me to buy.

Matching the IP with your billing address is a nice idea, but if there is no way around it, no better than a DRM. I mean, I am the rightful owner of the card obviously. I should be allowed to buy it no matter where I am.
