With an influx of more powerful weapons and and the fact that tech powers instantly break Stasis, I wanted to know if we could possibly make it so Stasis does not break when hit with enough damage from weapons and an immunity to breaking from tech powers ( not necessarily making them immune to the tech power's effects ). The only time it would break is when is detonated ( used for Biotic Explosions ) or when the duration has passed.

Now. I wanted to bring to light the fact that like all combos in the game, you must first set up a biotic explosion with a priming power such as Dark Channel and set off the explosion with a detonating power such as Warp. Though, Biotic Explosions must be followed by a biotic power to detonate them; As opposed to tech burst which can be detonated by Combat, Tech and Biotic Abilities ( for example to set off a Fire Explosion, You can prime an enemy with Incinerate and it can be detonated with any detonating power in the game ).

Tech powers also overwright biotic abilities ( many of which instantly hit the enemy ) leaving the original primer to have to set  up their biotic explosion again. And as said before with all the powerful weapons, mods, and ammo ~ Team mates often rely on their weapons more so than anything else. Many times, someone will attack the glowing and/or floating enemy as opposed to all the others

Now to clear things up, I'm not proposing that Biotic abilities are now given priority over tech powers nor am I saying that Biotic explosions should be made easier to create as both may hinder the cooperation that I so love about this game. Though, maybe this will begin to sparks some ideas and bring to Adepts and all Biotics the attenton they really need

Stasis could definitely use a higher damage threshold before releasing affected targets. With the introduction of bombers and dragoons, it has very limited use against the original three factions now, albeit still very handy against Collectors and hoards of Phantoms. This and maybe a cooldown decrease is the least they could do to balance it out.

Well as a primarly Adept player I can tell you how infinitely annoying it is that my Biotic primer is cancelled out until I redo it because a tech power was added to the enemy. "oh you just have to re throw". Oh. Ok I'll just re- everything because it's more convenient for tech. Normally I just do not say anything at all - but I do feel its an entirely unfair penalty to Biotics to be actually cancelled out bc someone is spamming tech stuff.

Is there any instance where a tech power is negated by biotics? I do not think so.

I've had my Incinerate DoT nullified by a Banshee because the Adept standing next to me didn't know that Banshees will always block powers and nullify DoT effects if you directly target them while they're in their second attack pattern. (walking around, throwing biotics and blocking attacks)

And that's fairly common. It can work the other way around though, so it's not all that bad.

I like the idea of raising th threshold for damage on stasis and the cooldown it causes definitely hinders the caster ( Alot of times I keep trying to explode it with throw before anyone sees its XD ) And yes with all the new enemies that have armor such as Dragoons and Bombers ~ I do love Stasis. And if not a cool down increase  ( I think this is only needed on the Asari Adept as the Volus has Biotic Spheres ) There could be an increase in the chance for Stasis to not cause a cool down in rank 6 from 33% to 40%

Yeah, I have been noticing it too and Ive also been noticing that sometimes the reward is not as great as the effort put in to mak it happen

I think very few people take the vulnerability evolution on Stasis, it's just not worth it compared to a bubble which can catch a number of targets. A trade off I think would be to change the vulnerability evolution to one that can catch small armoured targets (dragoons, turrets, pyros and bombers) and a significant increase in the amount of damage that they take before stasis breaks.
