Or, another way to look at it. Gearbox has patched the xbox version of borderlands 3 times since its release. Two of those patches had major fixes to the game in them. Considering the amount of feedback EA/BW has had in this forum, not to mention why they didn't pick up some of the basic glitches in Q&A, you have to wonder whether they have just left us to rot.

Don't forget the submission process they make a patch to fix the issues it has to be submitted to MS and Sony before it comes out on a console.

It is unfortunate that people are so wrapped up in how things are so unfair they can't see when people try to explain the little things. You can't compare games and companies so readily because not all are alike. Further comparing a shooter to an RPG is like comparing apples and orangutans. One of these things is not like the other...

The process sucks and bad decisions can and are made. It isn't like the companies are trying to anger people or make a crap game. They like money. They like it so much they want customers to buy their stuff. Want to stick it to them and teach them a "lesson"? Make your money work for you.

Wait... now we're getting into simple economics... way to advanced for quite a few of the rampant posters seeking the waaambulance :P

At any rate, I hope the folks start to take it a bit easier and relax a little. i hope EA as the publisher can step up and perhaps begin to release status updates. Hell job tickets go through the system so fast you could set up a twitter for it to watch the work fly :D

Do you really believe in logic fallacies? I refute you and you ignore the facts or run to the next attempt to "win."

Here is a fact for you: EA has issues and so does Bioware. I never stated otherwise. All corporations have issues.

Do bugs suck? Yep. Are you trying to help answer questions? Nope.

The staff HAS posted a patch is in the works. If that isn't enough to sate your definition of dialogue that is a personal issue. With all the dreck they have to muddle through here it takes even longer to find and deal with legitimate beefs. As stated THIS IS NOT THE GOD DAMN OFFICIAL SUPPORT FORUM. Get it through your retarded skull. You want OFFICIAL go to the proper areas otherwise you have no reason to ****, moan, whine, cry, postulate, grab a damn pitchfork, etc.

"They" who choose to appropriately seek help aren't the issue. The issue is in folks like you who think spamming the boards with the same garbage that doesn't help a damn thing in the wrong place. Emotion should also be reserved for non-public places unless you wish to incur the response you whine about receiving. Otherwise you can't complain if you don't like what you hear.

Don't like things as much as you make it appear? Return the game and leave the boards to those that do.

I do intend to have a nice day. I say what I mean and mean what I say. If you can't handle cold hard truth perhaps you should get off your mommy's computer and leave the posting to the adults who can form a coherent thought that is relevant to the situation at hand.

Buh bye!

*Sigh*  Is there no way to ignore this biased tool of Bioware?  I thought the block button would do it, but unfortunately he still appears when I read the forum.  Is there an ignore button that I'm missing somewhere?

Once again, your condescension knows no bounds.  I guess the rules of your so-called forum etiquette only come into play when its applied to the scolding of others.  Don't do as I do, do as I say.

I was one of the lucky ones who made it through the game relatively unscathed, but I still possess enough empathy to understand the anger and disillusionment of those who didn't.

Unlike you, who's only interest is in being right, rather than being understanding.

Your suggestion for people who have complaints or frustrations, is to take it to another forum.  I may be wrong, but if I recall correctly in another post, you suggested they take it to the general forum.  What a wonderfully sensitive and well-thought out idea.  They already have to deal with one self-righteous poster in this forum.  Moving to the general forum would be akin to placing a sheep in a room full of hungry wolves.  Take one of you, and multiply it by a thousand.

Either you're completely clueless, or you're intentionally obtuse.  Either way, it's obvious you will continue to rub salt in the wounds of people here who have experienced real bugs and real issues, under the guise of "helping".  You're like a Yankee fan spouting off in a Phillies forum right after the 2009 World Series.

I'm sure you'll respond to this, as I know it's very important for you to maintain your imagined sense of superiority.  Regardless, I'm done with this dialogue.  It's obvious it only falls on deaf ears.

I have been patiently waiting for the RtO dlc for a while now. I have not encountered many glitches ingame. With months of little from Bioware about our issues with the game. Then everything gets delayed and we don't even have a approximate time to look forward to. I was going to get the new Star Wars MMO they are making but with all this fail on a single player console game. I can't help but worry about how many problems an MMO from BioWare would have. I love all of the Bioware games I have played but these continued screw ups with nothing to tell ur fans, In the long run There just gonna lose sales. I only partially blame Bioware for these shortcoming. My disappointment is mainly for EA.

Also I 100% back Kylearan in this argument.

ReverendJynx If u have a had no problems with the game then how do you intend to help people when you have no experience with them. If Bioware isn't doing anything to fix our (console gamers) problems, then how are else are we supposed to communicate our problems.

Because their primary objective is to make money (EA) it does make them a company similar to other companies. Bad customer service is bad customer service, and Bioware shouldn't get a pass because they are a game company when you have others like Valve, Blizzard, Nintendo, Capcom and countless others who either ship games without being a buggy mess or at least fix them quickly. I do not see why people are so willing to give Bethesda and Bioware such a pass in this regard when they are big money makers. Sounds pretty cheap to me, such actions by smaller companies would cripple them as they have in the past.

As I have pointed out, the game breakers have not hit me. Minor bugs are just that, minor. Further I happen to read about problems and solutions and pass info along. Plus, with deductive reasoning you can try to eliminate possible causes of a glitch by comparing the run-through with another and see what may have caused the problem. Hence, asking for people to list what that have done step by step leading up to the bug rather than, 'OMG!!!!! BUG!!! BROKEN!!!! WTF BIWOARE!!! FIXIT!!!"

I'm all for communicating issues. ****ing and moaning isn't communicating, it is simply a means to stroke ones bruised ego. State the problem succinctly and let folks try to help or take the issues to the appropriate parties (directly to EA as they control tech support) as this is a fan forum and not an official source for help.

You see, people are getting to hung up on the "injustice" done to them they fail to see beyond their impotent rage when people are in fact trying to help.

At any rate, have a good one.

I don't give Bethesda a pass. 2 weeks before they shipped, they delayed Alpha Protocol. I got a pre-order refund and won't bother buying the game later. One sale won't hurt them surely, but depending on how many they do lose... perhaps that is a statement they can hear.

Geez. My game is gathering dust waiting for the patch. I have not played it yet...ME2 will be out before the patch and I'll never get a chance to play the game. Oh well at least I'm getting close to finishing a lvl 200 SW on S2 :D TBH I've given up on EA/BW patching this game. I might trade it in for ME2.

I thought this also, I will be trading in my copy of this game for Mass Effect 2 and then just buy the GOTY edition with all the expansions/dlc.

Alpha Protocol has nothing to do with Bethesda.  Alpha Protocol is a Sega/Obsidian product.  Delayed presumably to fix certain bugs which is never a bad thing.  I waited two years for Ocarina of Time and three for Half-Life 2 and those delays were helpful in the end.  Not saying Alpha Protocol will be bug-free especially given Obsidian's record.

Personally I respect delays more in this regard as over the past few years it seems like companies are more likely to release early then fix later, which works great when it ends up being their last product and the company goes under.  In those instances such things never get fixed, and just because I assume Bioware is safe doesn't mean that their games need more polish because on the consoles at least their track record has shown that their games DO NOT get fixed.
