I ran a search for "hobbies" and only got 1 hit from 3 years ago.  Anyway I thought I'd ask what everyone likes doing outside of gaming.  Maybe this thread can be useful to come up with new ideas for secondary hobbies or when there is a gaming drought.

Mine are:

Film Industry:  I love checking out movies in the theatre, and tracking how much money they make.  I also like select actors and actresses and following their career.  I used to own hundreds of VHS and DVDs, but now I'm more selective about what I actually buy on BluRay and probalby only have 50 to 60 films.  (Strangely, outside of a couple shows a year I almost can't stand TV).

Fitness:  I was very into tracking my diet and workouts when I was 20 to 26 and then I kind of stopped doing this religously  I just picked up this hobby again last month and it's all coming back to me.  It's a great stress reliever and it's nice to zone out and just have time for myself.

Greek & Roman Mythology:  Coffee table books, academic books, I even collect statues of the Gods / Goddesses.  I like seeing how these myths have passed down through the generations and end up influencing video games and media even today.  I'm planning a trip to Rome and Athens in 2014.

Minimalist Living / Charity:  Every week I find new things I own that I practically will not use, that I donate to charity.  I have a fair amount of disposable income, which I tend to dispose of, and even donate things that I bought within the past month.  These days, I try to only keep things I actually use or will use within a year, outside of a few things with sentimental value.  I probably donated $2K this year to GoodWill, including things like a ton of PS3 Games from 2011/early 2012, clothes (some of which I never got around to wearing), and books.

Pets:  Love my cats, lol.

THINKING ABOUT:  

Mixed Martial Arts. 
Writing a Novel.
Reading more than 1 book a month.

I already feel a bit spread thin, so not sure I'd really want to add more hobbies than I already have at the moment...

Outside of gaming I love watching movies and TV shows that I like. I like discovering new things I haven't watched, or experienced yet. I enjoy drawing and doing artwork, photography and taking photos, creating and admiring cosplay, reading novels and stories, writing my own novel as well as various pieces of fan art, collecting comic books, dreaming of travel, being inspired by my favourite actors, spending time with friends and group activities like going to the theater, or out for desserts and high teas~

Most of my pastimes seem to involve little physical activity, though I have recently started a daily exercise routine. So far I've lost no weight at all!

But my actual hobbies are cooking, music (mostly listening, though I used to play bass), the occasional venture into photography and collecting stuff, including shoes, swords and far too much other assorted tat.

Oh! I do like watching television. And, and, drawing. And chatting with peeps on the BioWare Social Network and other places. My mum likes to juggle and I've gotten into it a bit - she's bought a lot of things to jug, such as juggling balls and even dog chew toys. Also driving around by myself listening to music. Oh, and I like listening to the radio.

I collect records (mostly 80s punk/new wave) and I write and record music in my bedroom (play bass, guitar, and a tiny bit of synthesizers). I'm in band right now, but it's kinda on hiatus as a studio-only project, but I might be starting something else soon with some other folks. Who knows?

My hobbies are depressing:

Arguing.

Metaphysics.

Trying to twist old arguments from philosophy of religion around to be a bad argument for atheism that take more time to disprove then they do to say. It tickles me to no end to purposefully make new versions of bad arguments from antiquity.  I only have a few, but I'm still working on it.
