I used it at level 1, and all it made me want to do is kill all Collectors for giving me such a crap weapon. Vowed never to use it again.

I like the CSMG even though I only have it at 2. However, it really could use a bigger clip size. Even with spare cap mod, the clip size is ridiculously small. And the cooldown mechanism could use some tweaking i.e. uninterrubtible by other animations and preferably an auto cooldown when you holster it. But this applies to all the particle weapons imho. Other than that, come on RNG, give me more CSMGs already

The UNCOMMON SMGs are as good/better...soo...thats why everyone (mostly) hates it.
Oh, and the Uncommons are also 90x easier to GET...let alone max out...

ReckonHoodie, as I was saying before, the sustained DPS alters very significantly on the CSMG with the extended clip mod, and the CSMG is way more accurate than the Tempest. Test them out against a wall at 10 meters. Hold zoom on the CSMG, and you can have all shots hit a postcard sized area.

Okay, just did some quick math. The CSMG X can sustain 514rpm with the extended clip V if you don't let it overheat.

I leveled it to IV before ever using the weapon and used it with heat sync and HVB, like I prefer on the locust and hurricane. Absolutely hated the weapon. Then I heard to try it with the extended mag and it was a completely different experience.
