Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who replied to the topics that I'd posted or who helped me when I was stuck.

But I'm giving up on the game. I am currently at Landsmeet, and I'm pretty completely disappointed with  the whole thing.
I really don't care which nobles I have to smooze up to so they don't support Loghain . I don't really care whether his daughter back stabs me in order to get the throne or not. I am fully annoyed with the idea of putting a silly "I don't *want* to lead" Allstair on the throne.
And I hate having no real choice in the outcome.

Maybe I'll pick it up again later.
Meanwhile. thanks for all your help. Without that, I wouldn't have lasted as long.

good luck to all the players.

All in all, I liked the game, but it just got old being manipulated into all the junk you're supposed to do -- characters who magically appearing, even though I'd left them at camp, characters you need to keep in your party on missions where you dont' want to, people you cant really beat in combat because it "furthers the plot".
And I got really disappointed by side quests that you get excited about only to find out they take like 30 seconds to complete.

I just got to where I don't care. Were I the warden, I'd take off, go to Orlais and try to hook up with the Grey Wardens there, and basically give up on Ferelden. I just can't remember the last time I played an RPG where I really didn't care if the world got destroyed.

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game. You given loads of choices when it doesnt matter (The alienage slaver) and then given "controlled" choices or forced onto the choo choo express when it does really matter.

I love the game but it does make 0 sense at vital times or the "real" or "logical" choices are conveniently left out and you are rail roaded. (Like Morrigan being forced onto you at Flemiths house at the start is a perfect example - no matter what I say I am forced to take her and I dont like that).
