The face is screwed up. The Bishoujo statues are pretty decent.
Femshep:

They have more of an anime look than the Playarts figures. Here is one for JayCee from Tekken:

Which ones look better? Bushoujo figures or Playart figures?

Personally, I prefer figures to statues, so I'd rather have a Liara toy. But I won't deny that for people who like such things, the statues do have their appeal.

It's weird, I mainly play as male Sheppard, but I'm actually seriously considering buying PAK Femshep, that figure looks stellar to me.
Does anybody know of a board/topic/thread that has lots of normal (as in not press or artsy) photos of the ME PAK's? (Or other PAK lines.) I don't know if it exists yet on this site. I'm surprised how few pictures I'm able to find yet.

As you can see, Femshep is a MASSIVE improvement, paint-wise, from the first series humans. I still want that Ashley, though. And I'm not even much of an Ashley fan.

Yup! I have a zillion pictures that I've taken, but I'm sure people are tired of me posting them. XD So, here's a site with some reviews and pictures:

Could you link me yours? Sorry if this goes too much off topic, but I've never used direct messages, if they at all even exist here.

Not totally sure what you're looking for, what do you want to see that isn't present in the links I posted?
I've posted a few in this thread, but you're going to get a better idea of the paint and overall quality of the toy from someone's pictures that utilize a light tent, rather than some dude who snapped a picture on a desk with his crappy flip phone.
I'm happy to oblige if there's anything you want to see, though.
As for the size difference between the DC Direct and Play Arts toys...

... it's distinct. XD

The best pictures are for me those that come closest to the situation the figure is gonna be in on my actual shelf.
That usually includes daylight for instance, as the room has windows. It also doesn't invole overly lit situations, because I never apply that. It's boring and inaccurate to the (in this case) game counterpart, where natural shadows occur all the time.
So while I fully understand press photos being as they are, they're not really that useful for me without any photos of "natural" conditions. Many defects spotted on press photos are completely unnoticed to me at home in my everyday situation.
If you have a picture of the PAK's side by side in normal office-like daylight and one in low atmospheric light, those are actually the most helpful. That'd be the best.

Saw someone posted pictures with the FemShep one, I thought it wasn't out yet.
It's most definitely released, though some vendors might recieve it later. Not my picture, but voila:

If only someone had posted in a thread somewhere pictorial proof and testimonial that she has been, in fact, released!
Oh, wait.
Okay, I've tried my very best to simulate the poor lighting and generally terrible picture conditions that you have requested. I dunno if this gives you a better idea of how it looks in a more "natural" setting, but I did my best. Probably too bright and not enough shadows for your liking, but really - if you've seen one picture of the toy in any conditions, it's not going to change too dramatically in another picture. The paint and the sculpted detail remain the same.
I understand the need to know what you're getting, though. The paint wash on Garrus is actually kind of ugly, but the sculpt is very much true to the character. I can't recommend these toys enough, if you're willing to stomach the brutal 60-70 dollar price tag for a friggin' action figure.
The top of my computer desk at the moment:

I almost got me the Ash & Garrus figures, but hell, they're actually hideous...
Ash looks like... someone else in her clothes. Even in ME3, she still had kind of an hispanic touch, and her body, though massively sexed-up, was still not downright hilarious.
Garrus... well it's just the head, really. The Turian exo-skeleton is supposed to be metal-ish, even a bit shiny. Not like the concrete wall of a parking lot.
Are there some photos of Tali's (with no ambient lightning and whatnot) availible somewhere? Hate to rule her out as well.

Looks awesome, to me. Series 2 overall is a massive step up in quality from the first series.

Funny picture, that actually does inform me more than most press photos, thanks. I don't get how a picture can inform you if it's never gonna look like that in real life. Also: HK-47! Awesome, I got HK-50.XD
I'm so so annoyed they didn't just add a helmet to Shepard's figure. It basically excludes anyone who isn't into their default design from having an accurate Shepard (ironically I actually am into the default design, but they messed the male version up, sadly).

Was it so hard to include a swappable head or helmet like with Batman and Catwoman PAK!?
